About the adventure
This is an intro to cyberpunk red. This will be my first time GMing, so please bare with me. I will be more focused on story and adventure and won't be super combat heavy. Mainly we will start learning basic mechanics, once we have that down we will start the rule of cool. That doesn't guarantee you will get what you want. Just an "I like that, roll for it" and move from there!
Game style
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Theater of the Mind
“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.
There is also a possibility this will be run digitally instead!

Additional details
How to prepare
I will be using Cyberpunk Red from any app store, it has a walk-through of basic characters and creation. A discord to communicate and help each other will also be the main hub of rules, intros, etc. Please let me know if discord is an issue and I can figure out a different way to communicate. We hold all sessions over Discord! So cams and mic are prepared when needed.
What I provide
I will go as far as I can, voices along w/ props/small costume pieces so you know who I am. I will draw and write out my own maps as the world grows and use some pre-made ones for basic places like a bar or room os some kind. Also if we want to I can buy/make physical coins/fake money so we don't actively have to keep track. This of that sort I also have a skill of improv and making it up as I go. I can at least promise this campaign won't be boring. I will have pre-made music lists but from time to time will let players choose music for the looser and more fun areas of the game.

How will character creation work
I have an app I can share with you and connect all characters together into a game. Along with that, in discord I will be helping you, updating summaries from each session, etc.
