About the adventure

In a land where even the gods are bound by oaths and prophecies... At the dawn of time, a war between the gods and Titans left the world of Thylea forever changed. Thousands of years later, the first mortals arrived, carried by ship and dragon. The Dragonlords were the champions who overthrew the Titans 500 years ago and forged the Oath of Peace. But the power of the Oath has waned, and now the Titans seek vengeance. You are one of the heroes called by prophecy to end the conflict once and for all. Poets will sing of your deeds for centuries to come... if you survive. From the lead designer of Baldur's Gate, Dragon Age: Origins, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic... An Epic Campaign. Join with other prophesied heroes to under take an epic quest to save the world of Thylea, sail the islands of the Forgotten Sea, and battle the Titans! The adventure will take a party of heroes from 1st to 15th level. Choose your Epic Path. Includes eight epic paths for players to choose from. Epic paths provide powerful motivations for your hero, making you a central part of the story. Change Thylea’s history forever, and go down in history as one of the new Dragonlords. About me

Hello! My name is Zach and I'd like to be your GM! I've been playing/running ttrpg's of multiple systems for the past decade or so from Hackmaster, Edge of the Empire, Pathfinder 2e and more. It's always been enjoyable to sit down with friends, and people who I didn't know, but would become friends, and tell stories together in the games we love. About 6 years ago now, a buddy sat me down and we started my first game of D&D 5e with Lost Mines of Phandelver, and I never went back. I've been GMing 5e for a few years now and would would love to tell stories with you all. Tony from Queens said I'm the best around. If you're interested in having a chat or asking me any questions please feel free to reach out!

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation can be handled on your own, but I will be running through characters during session 0 just to make sure that everything lines up with the rest of the party. Characters will be made in foundry during session 0. Currently using 2024 building rules.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will need a computer that has access to the internet and Discord. A microphone is prefered, but not mandatory. The session will be hosted in Foundry VTT and over call in Discord. Please come to session 0 with at least an idea of what you would like to play. Session 0 we will be introducing ourselves, going over the main premise of the campaign, running through a safety sheet, and making characters in foundry. I hope to see you there!

Safety

How Zachary Brown creates a safe table

I as a DM am pretty rules as intended. As with the case with all games there are some rules and interactions that contradict themselves, and these will be dealt with as they come. I try my hardest to make sure that everyone is comfortable at my table. With some come several safety tools such as a session 0, lines and veils, and my DMs are always open if someone wants to talk through the events of a session. There will be some documents that I would like players to fill out before playing. It will help me learn more about you as a player and the character you will be bringing to the table.
