Mall Madness | Nightshift Nightmares
Monster of the Week | Campaign
About the adventure
Welcome to Shadowbrook Mall. As brave nightshift workers, you're the thin line between normalcy and the horrifying truth that stalks between the food court and forgotten storage rooms, with a simple yet dangerous mission: protect the mall's dark secrets at all costs. One leaked supernatural incident could bring government agents swarming, shutting down the mall and destroying everything you know. Worse yet? You'd lose your jobs! By day, it's all routine: stocking shelves at Gnome Depot, flipping pizzas at Mr. Smiley's SOUPER Pizzeria & Arcade, and dealing with the usual retail headaches. But when darkness falls, the mall reveals its true nature. Supernatural creatures view this sprawling complex as their personal hunting ground - a buffet of unsuspecting employees and late-night stragglers. Each night is a high-stakes balancing act of survival and secrecy. You'll find yourself negotiating with noodle monsters lurking in the food court, desperately keeping the mall's gnomes appeased and preventing a potential retail rebellion, keeping horrifying creatures from feasting on unsuspecting night staff, and maintaining the facade of a completely normal shopping center - all while trying to punch your timecard at the end of the shift. As your GM, I thrive on players who think outside the box. Want to turn the mall's PA system into an improvised banishment ritual? Planning to recruit the noodle monsters as part-time employees? Looking to solve the gnome uprising with an emergency midnight stockroom pizza party? Your wildest schemes and most unorthodox solutions won't just be possible - they'll be essential to surviving your shift! Will you survive the night, clock out, and keep the mall's terrifying secrets buried? Or will you become another unexplained disappearance in Shadowbrook's most haunted retail space?

Session Zero will go over personal rules, guidelines, safety tools and where to find and access them in the discord. I use the rules more like guidelines. I'm not a big stickler for the rules. My goal is for players to just have fun with it.
