About the adventure
This adventure is ever an evolving narrative between player and GM. You’ll decide where to go and what to do, as there is no edge to the map. I’ll work things in and around those choices. For example, early on the party uncovered the top of a golden model of a pyramid, the light cantrip was cast over this, which didn’t seem to have any effect. Upon returning to the local desert town they find that there is a pyramid that has been partly uncovered and we continued from there... The players are looking forward to you joining them and you’ll find a fun game experience. At they move forward with the story they may will get to understand why there is a rise in the numbers and power of the undead. As they’ve finished exploring the pyramid, their path is open to them . This campaign is great for new and experienced players alike, all you need is to immerse themselves in an adventure full of intrigue, danger, and plenty of opportunities to explore. Things to expect: 🎭 A great atmosphere with visuals, effects and music brought to life with FoundryVTT. 🎬 A deep storyline, that will keep you guessing where things are going, with twists in the tale, that make you face more than a few decisions. 🧑🎤 Lots of role play with some voice acting and plenty of depth to NPCs even those ones that you may never meet again. I like to see the depth of your characters character. ⚔️ Challenging combat, where I’ll use the spells and abilities of the adversaries to good effect. I do bring players characters to the brink of being out of spells more often than not. This game was never meant to be easy...
Players wanting to join for a single session or for longer are both welcome. You'll be able to join with a quickly created character in D&D Beyond, that will be 6th level and using Standard Array.

How to prepare
Make sure you have: 💻 A reliable PC, with a stable internet connection 🎧 A working headset or microphone and headphones. This helps with VC feedback. 🆓 Free accounts for Discord, D&D Beyond and ForgeVTT. Links will be supplied. 📹 I'll be 'camera on' and I encourage you to do likewise. It took me awhile to feel comfortable with it and makes for a friendlier game.
What I provide
🆕 New Player friendly. Be that first time to D&D or role playing game in general. I’ll guide but you’ll still be at the helm of your character. 🎭 Role play and being in character during the game. This doens;t need to be a Critical Role type thing. I’ll bring some voices to the table and love it when players do too. 🗺️ Crafted maps. 🎵 Great gaming style music 👌FoundryVTT expertise 🔊 Storytelling that captivates your imagination and as the long term narrative unfolds, you should feel the suspense 😆 A sprinkle of dry humour that adds a unique flavour 👪 I embrace inclusivity for all players at the table. Rarely do I see the ism type problem at the table, but will deal with it quickly should it arise. Do contact me if you have a problem with another player in game. ⏯️ We’ll have a break for 5 to 10 mins half way through the session. Time to top up drinks and snacks.

How will character creation work
You’ll create your character on D&D Beyond. Once were both happy with the character, I can import the sheet into the game. 0️⃣ In Session 0 we’ll discuss how your character fits into the world 🎭 Characters will start at 3rd Level 🧾 A colourful backstory is always great to see, as it helps you find the character out of the “cold” ability numbers. For this adventure it won’t form a strong part of the narrative and tis is due to how the adventure unfolds. I use a Google form for this as it helps guide you on things that may not seem important… but could be. 🎲 The all important ability rolls will be at the game table. I really like the random nature of 4d6 dropping the lowest. Should the scores all be low I will allow a re-roll. ⚔️ Starting equipment or purchase 📚 You can use PHB, TCE, XGE books for character creation. The following are all allowed: Multiclassing, Feats, Classes & Species from official 2024 books are all allowed 🖼️ Portrait art can be from those on D&D Beyond or elsewhere
