About the adventure
Ever wanted to journey in the realms of the Firefly Verse? Now is your chance jump on board fill the hold and lets set sail for adventure in the stars and possibly make a credit or two. Play by post is a fantastic way to play in an adventure where you have not got the time to sit with a group on a weekly basis. Simply post and then read the story as it evolves and you have the time. This adventure will be a play by text asynchronous adventure. Asynchronous games are played as and when people have the time to play and no more than one person has to be online at the same time. By joining the group you agree to post at least once a week, more is better.
Game style
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.
Theater of the Mind
“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.
The game will start when we reach the minimum amount of players.

Bo is an absolute weapon of a GM, always down for whatever as long as it’s within some sort of sense XD. On a serious note though seriously one of the best GM’s I’ve played under so far and always down for the rule of cool. Bo had been my DM for about 6 months now, I can vouch for the professionalism and punctuation. I love how he immerses your back story into the story, the way he preps every game not only for battle but intrigue as well. DM Bo has been fantastic. Playing play-by-post, the game has been easy to follow and keep up with. Extra effort such as the excellent use of maps makes it easy to return the game and understand the situation during combat. The organization of his Discord, including a channel dedicated to each character where Bo is always willing to interact with the players, resolve the outcome of dice rolls, etc., has been great. I also enjoy rolling right off of my DnD Beyond character sheet, keeping things very simple in that area. Unlike other DM's I've had where they are just going through the motions of a module as a day job, Bo has put a lot of effort into extra role play with the PC's to help realize each player character idea, backstory, personality, etc. and keep the game unique and fun. I look forward to rolling up my second character with Bo and sticking around in his games for a long time. Thanks DM!

How to prepare
You will need access to Discord Owlbear Rodeo is the VTT used and is easy to access with no sign up needed. Most laptops and phones will run all these app's.
What I provide
I will bring the story to life for you. You only need to sit back relax and your off on an adventure. I use the Virtual table top Owlbear Rodeo which will have all of the maps for you to play along on as well as custom made tokens for your characters. Oh and 'Don't forget your plastic dinosaur.'
Gameplay details
Any safety concerns of game content please contact me before play. Players can expect an action packed game with lots of theatre of the mind and use of Owlbear Rodeo as a visual tool to assist combat and system mapping.
