In this strange land vast legions of mindless zombies toil and do all the hard work, allowing the rest of "the dead" to lead lives of leisure, while the living population ("the quick") try to avoid the ire of their undead betters. At the top of the hierarchy of Geb, just below the Ghost-King Geb himself, are the Blood Lords, the nation's aristocracy. But despite the remarkable rarity of actual life, Geb is not immune to change, and is ripe with mystery. Recently, strange occurrences have plagued a zombie-tended farm. A party of brave and reliable adventurers is needed to unravel these mysteries. The reward? A chance to climb the lively (pun intended) aristocratic ladder of the Blood Lords! Join us for an adventure filled with intrigue, danger, and the undead. Your actions could shape the future of Geb and secure your place among its elite! Blood Lords is a balanced campaign where combat, roleplay, exploration and social conflicts all play a part. 🇬🇧 Hi! I'm Andrea, spawn of '89, from Italy. I would be honoured to be your storyteller (or "cantastorie", story-singer in Italian), and to craft together wondrous tales worth remembering! I am a professional computer games designer, which gives me an edge in crafting fantastic game experiences in general. My career in games is a natural evolution of my long love story with tabletop and live roleplaying games. I've played roleplaying games since I was 15, and in 2024 I started to go a bit more "professional" by organising games for kids and adults with a local community in my city. I had practice with theatre throughout my life (although never professionally) and followed an improvisation theatre class for four years. I worked with live entertaining events for a couple of years too. Creating your character
I will give a link to the Player Guide for the Blood Lords Adventure Path. You should really read this before starting to create your character! You will need to create a Level 1 character for the Remaster rules of Pathfinder Second Edition. You will be able to do so directly on Foundry, but you can also use external tools like Demiplane or Pathbuilder! The game uses both the Free Archetype option and the Ancestry Paragon option for character creation. I'm always available via Discord to help, but in case you want to have a go at it in on your own please only use common or uncommon traits from basic rules, or related to the adventure itself! We will review and finalize everyone's characters during Session 0.
We are looking for new members to join the party at level 6! We are now running through the third chapter of the second module (of 6) of the adventure. The themes coming out of Session 0 and that set the tone for this adventure are: - Dramatic choices: some of the choices made might have a strong impact on how the world reacts to the PCs. - Political: there are power games at work in Geb, and the PCs have the chance to get involved in them, vying for status and power. No room for Romance in this game! The current party composition is: - Fitzgert: a somewhat permanently discombobulated ghost gnome necromancer (who might not have reconciled yet with being a ghost) - Kurt: a still-alive (or "quick" as they are called in Geb) halfling investigator, invested in uncovering the truth behind a mass-poisoning plot. The party has gained the favour of Berline Haldoli, resident Blood Lord of the city of Graydirge, and established themselves in a manor that they now own, while investigating a plot against the population of Geb. There's plenty of room in the manor for more adventurers like yourself! The group has followed the hints of a plot that could damage all of Geb, and is about to try and infiltrate a remote industrial village involved in this dastardly scheme.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
- You'll need a Discord account, and to join the Discord server to join the sessions' calls! - You'll need a decent microphone and internet connection. The use of the webcam is not mandatory but is strongly encouraged!
What Andrea, the Italian Storyteller brings to the table
- I will host our games on Foundry, a Virtual Tabletop that you will be able to access just using your usual browser and registering on the Forge VTT website. - I have a Discord server, Cortestoria, that we will use to communicate between sessions, and also host the video chat for the sessions proper!

How Andrea, the Italian Storyteller creates a safe table
The adventure combines high fantasy with gothic horror themes, including zombies and vampires. Expect fights and high-tension moments. Geb is a unique setting where powerful undead and necromancers command zombie (and sometimes living) slaves, considering themselves superior to living beings and lesser undead. Before Session 0 — - I'll share the Monte Cook Consent Checklist. Use it to privately inform me of any triggering themes. - The adventure will be adapted to ensure enjoyment for everyone. During Session 0 — - We'll finalize characters and discuss preferred themes and playstyles. - Share what you'd like me to focus on and what to avoid. After Each Session — - Feel free to share what you enjoyed and what you'd like to see in future sessions. Your feedback is crucial in creating a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone!
