I really enjoyed my games with Jack. Heā€™s a very friendly and patient GM, who has a really good grasp on the PF2E rules. Every session, and the campaign as a whole, was extremely well paced, with Jack having a keen sense of when to take time over a scene or encounter and when to speed things along. His communication in and out of game was excellent. He had a great pre campaign chat with us to make sure we would all be a good fit together, was flexible with us moving around our start time to work for everyone, and also spent plenty of time outside of sessions to discuss and help us refine our character choices. If you're looking for someone to run an engaging campaign, particularly one that is a bit more focussed on the tactical combat side of PF2E as opposed to something super RP heavy, I can highly recommend!

Ran through Rusthenge with Jack and our Party had great fun. He's both relaxed, knowledgeable and has great pacing. You as a player are able to have little character moments in Roleplay or just world interaction while keeping tight pacing as not to lose focus. Cheers!

Jack is a great GM with a really good sense of humour and an infectious enthusiasm for Pathfinder. He sets a good pace when running games and gives players plenty of room for choices, consequences and engaging gameplay.

Is patient and knows the rules well, which means he's very accommodating to new players. He also allows a lot when it comes to creative rule of cool stuff.

Jack has done a wonderful job of helping me learn more about PF2e and have a ton of fun while playing! I've felt super comfortable at his table and playing as a newer PF2e player. Looking forward to continuing the adventure!

How to prepare

*Need*: - A free Foundry VTT account. - A microphone with decent audio quality. - A commitment to the chosen timeslot. *Want* - A solid understanding of basic, important rules (3 action turns, multiple attack penalty, etc)

What I provide

- High Quality official modules for mapping, character art, and sound! - Functional, simple, clean Foundry UI. No messing with modules for 15+ minutes! - NPCs with engaging personalities & voices who can take a backseat to allow players to hold the spotlight! - Occasional cinematic moments for atmosphere building and deeper understanding of the module's meta-plot!

Gameplay details

ā€¢ Upon joining the game you'll receive a form to anonymously fill in Lines and Veils. ā€¢ Session 0 will include discussions of the content in this module and player comfort levels, as well as general character building/dynamics. ā€¢ The game will have a Foundry module that enables the X card to allow any player to anonymously call for a break/fade to black/re-evaluation of the included content. The default expectation for this experience is that the setting is hostile, combat is dangerous, and character death is more than possible! A tonally, mechanically lighter experience is possible, but would need discussion and agreement from every player. Despite this, I'm happy to welcome beginners to Pathfinder 2e and explain the rules to them as we go!

How will character creation work

During session 0 we'll discuss the module and character choices. Every character will start Level 1 and follow the standard Pathfinder ABCs. I'll give some pointers to ensure players don't pick choices which will have 0 cohesion in the adventure (which Lore skill will be useful? Are any damage types beneficial? Is this feat ever going to come up?) Try not to come with a totally pre-planned character! Ideas are fine, but building the party together creates some great cohesion. We'll also have a segment (through voice or text) where I ask details for your characters' history & aesthetic. Who are they, why are they here, and how do their abilities manifest?
