About the adventure
The keys to inducting any new player into the hobby are these: patience, a talent for clear explanations, and frequent use of mediocre accents. As a professional teacher and DM, I am a master of these arts. Our first adventure will see you in the Dyn Singh Night Market, learning the basics of combat, roleplay, and stealth. Yes, my friends, we'll be playing hide-and-seek, negotiating with professional hagglers, and serving up the dreaded Battle Prawn with a side of unbearably hot Skull-Face Peppers. Of course, the specific adventure and characters are all up for customization. Ultimately however, I will run a fun and lighthearted one-shot for you to help us spread the social virus that is tabletop roleplaying games.

How to prepare
Players will need: 1. a laptop with a working microphone 2. an account on DNDBeyond 3. an account on Discord If the players are together in person, then just one of all the above is necessary. If the players will be playing from separate locations, then they will both need all of those things.
What I provide
We'll be playing on DNDBeyond's official Maps virtual tabletop. It will manage handouts, tokens, maps, character creation, and do basically all of the math. It'll be a reasonably well-produced session, but far from overwhelming.
Gameplay details
Beforehand, we'll go over some common Lines and Veils, especially regarding gore and sexuality. I'll make it clear I'm not expecting these issues to come up, but that there are safety tools in place in case troubling content comes up.

I have pregenerated characters that are designed to be easy for beginners to use. If you prefer, we can start the session by working together to build a Level 1 character.
