About the adventure
What happens when a group of sharp-tongued, wise-cracking old ladies get reincarnated as urban animals? Pure chaos, heart-warming antics, and an unforgettable adventure! In this rules-light, roleplay-heavy TTRPG, you and your friends play as former grandmothers who now roam the city as raccoons, pigeons, stray dogs, and more, armed with nothing but your animal instincts and decades of life experience. You and your fellow reincarnated grannies must band together to survive the urban jungle, complete unfinished business from your past lives, and maybe even teach the young’uns a thing or two about respect. Whether you're guilt-tripping a city planner into saving the community garden, distracting humans with your adorable antics, or using your tiny raccoon hands to break into a bakery, the city is your playground. With three core stats (Prowess, Cunning, and Charm) and the power of Old Lady Wisdom (OLW), you’ll navigate hilarious escapades while proving that, even in a furry (or feathery) new body, you still know best. Written by me and my 75-year-old mother, this game is a love letter to feisty grandmas, urban mischief, and the bonds that never fade, no matter how many lives you live. Trash Grannies is a light-hearted, narrative-driven game perfect for fans of quirky, character-focused storytelling. With simple mechanics emphasizing clever problem-solving, teamwork, and a touch of old-lady wisdom, this game is accessible to RPG veterans and newcomers alike. So grab your best scarf, fluff up your fur, and prepare for an afterlife filled with laughter, mischief, and an unreasonable amount of purse snacks. Because you may be an animal now... but you're still a grandma.

About me
Hi there! I’m Vee, and I've been running games as a Game Master for about six years now. I love crafting immersive, character-driven adventures that emphasize deep storytelling, meaningful connections, and collaborative creativity. At my table, your character’s journey is at the heart of everything, and your choices actively shape the world and narrative around you. My games are perfect for players who enjoy roleplaying, exploring personal story arcs, engaging in dynamic interactions, and uncovering thrilling narrative twists. I aim to create a welcoming, inclusive, and richly detailed environment where everyone feels free to fully explore their characters and contribute to an evolving story. I’m excited to meet your character and dive into their adventures with you, so let's build some unforgettable stories together! What You Can Expect at My Table - A safe and inclusive environment (LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC-friendly) - Roleplay-focused gameplay where your character’s story truly matters - Collaborative storytelling where creativity and player agency are encouraged - Welcoming atmosphere for both new and experienced players Looking for a Game? Take a look at my listed games, or reach out directly if you're interested in a custom campaign or one-shot. I'm always happy to chat and help you find the perfect game! More About Me (Beyond the Dice!) I’m 36 years old, currently living in Canada, and have been passionate about storytelling and roleplay since I was about 11. My journey started in Pokémon chatrooms before moving onto forum-based RPGs across various fandoms (Harry Potter, Star Wars, X-Men, general fantasy, anything that sparked my imagination!). I discovered tabletop RPGs through D&D 5e in 2018 and haven't looked back. These days, I play and run a variety of games and love supporting players as they tell meaningful, character-focused stories. If you enjoy roleplay-driven adventures filled with rich storytelling and meaningful character moments, I’d love to roll some dice together! 🎲

Creating your character
We’ll be creating our characters at the beginning of the session before we start playing. Feel free to bring any initial ideas, and we’ll work together to make sure everyone’s set in no time!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
| Equipment | A clear, working microphone is required. Please make sure your microphone is working before the session. Headphones are a very good idea, if possible, in order to prevent disruptions from ambient noise. A webcam for video is not needed, but is welcome and encouraged. | Software | An account with Discord is required. We will be using Discord for general game management. You should have it installed before the game starts. I will also be using Foundry VTT for session maps and other content, but you do not need to download or install anything for Foundry beforehand. | Game Understanding and Virtual Tabletop Use | Familiarity with the Mothership system is helpful but not at all mandatory. We'll clarify rules as we go and support our new players! The same goes for your understanding of Discord and Foundry VTT. | Mindset | Come prepared to be part of a collaborative adventure! Our game thrives on teamwork, imaginative thinking, and mutual respect.
What Vee brings to the table
A Discord server will be set up for the game. There will be background music and ambient sounds for atmosphere played during the game. The session will use theatre of the mind with images of characters and some settings. We will be using Foundry VTT for the visual and audio content. My approach balances the game's overall experience with a reasonable adherence to rules, emphasizing creative storytelling while ensuring gameplay remains structured and coherent. Expect a lively, engaging game with me, where the rules are respected but not to an excessive degree, allowing for a fluid, role-playing rich experience.

Safety
How Vee creates a safe table
During the session, we will use X, N, and O Cards to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience: X – Stops the scene immediately; we’ll fade to black or shift the focus. N – A warning that we’re approaching an uncomfortable topic, so we can adjust. O – Signals enthusiastic consent and excitement for the scene. At the end of the game, we will use Stars & Wishes to reflect on what we enjoyed and what we’d love to see more of in future games. This is a roleplay-heavy adventure with emotional stakes, and I want to ensure everyone feels good about their experience. If you have any specific concerns or needs, feel free to reach out before or after the session.
