Creating your character
You can build your character in dndbeyond with free access to my sourcebooks. Everyone will start at level one with the standard array of stats; the campaign should bring you to level ten or so by the end. I'm happy to work with you to create a backstory that fits into the main story, giving you ties to the world and secrets to discover! We will have session zero where everyone finalizes their characters together and creates some party ties, but we'll also have an ongoing chat in discord where we can discuss ideas before everything kicks off. Once you sign up, you'll have access to detailed character creation guidelines and help.
The game has started, but new players are welcome! Feel free to sign up or message me with any questions. We will be using 2024 rules, classes, and backgrounds, but legacy subclasses and species are permitted. Curse of Strahd is an intense gothic horror story, with many disturbing elements and evil forces directly targeting your characters both mentally and physically. As such, I won’t pull any punches, but I will make use of the safety tools to make sure everyone has a creepy but fun time. We'll cover how to use these tools in our session zero, and my door is always open for questions or comments.
