About the adventure
Two generations ago, the woman who became known as Robyn Hoode established a refuge deep within the wild, magical forest of Feywood. In this ancient wood full of magic long kept hidden from them, they have an idyllic society where women, queers, and a few allied cis men have the freedom to make magic and love as they wish. Mentored by the immortal, mischievous Fey, they live lives free of greed and heteronormativity. They are also the defenders of these tiny sprites and their forest… for the Feywood is surrounded on all sides by the patriarchal wickedness of 12th-century England. For years, Robyn Hoode and her Merry Bands have struck back. They steal from the rich and give to the poor, the queer, and the other victims of England’s oppressive regime. Now, though, Robyn is getting old. She's made it clear that soon her Hood will pass into younger hands. Will it be yours? ***** This is a Thirsty Sword Lesbians campaign based on the Robin Hood tales of medieval and early modern England, with splashes from the modern day. How to prepare
In my games, to facilitate bonding and reduce the number of times we accidentally talk over each other, we have cameras on by default, so make sure your setup is working well for both audio and video. We meet on a Discord voice channel on my server, Oaksong Games. Bring your favorite 2d6 dice as well, or if you prefer, you're welcome to use an online dice roller.
What I provide
I love character voices and portraits to complement NPCs who are guaranteed to be deep, rich characters to drive your storyline forward in unexpected ways. Traditional stabbity-death Combat isn't much of a theme in Thirsty Sword Lesbians or in my gaming style. I love to embrace your coolest, most creative ideas, and I usually ask those ideas to use the rules as written to make sure the game stays balanced for everyone. In addition to 17 years of GMing, I also provide my conflict resolution skills, expertise teaching game systems, and professional leadership facilitating groups. I help new and shy players be heard in the group and encourage more confident players to make space for everyone. When we do get into disagreements or step on one another's toes, I will help guide us to a graceful resolution so that everyone feels safe and heard before diving back into our story.

I carry marginalized identities, and it's very important to me that you too feel safe to bring your whole self here. Together, we create a gaming table where you feel seen, respected, and at ease.

How will character creation work
Characters may be any gender identity and were either born in Feywood Forest or are refugees from England. At your private, paid Session 0, we will create your personalized character and add custom elements to the setting together. If you're familiar with Thirsty Sword Lesbians, feel free to arrive with a character idea in mind, but it's not required.
