About the adventure
Having survived a monster attack, or having inherited a monster hunter legacy, your character will work for the Sword Coast branch of Monster Hunter lnc. (MHI), a Family owned Monster Hunting company inspired by Larry Correia's book series Monster Hunter International. We will be using material and rules from "Helianna's guide to monster hunting" and "Ryoko's guide to the yokai realms" from publisher Loot Tavern and I'll provide everything you need for you to do tracking, big game monster Hunting and cooking — Eat your heart out Geralt! _____________ I will provide everything you need to play______________ No math, no code: the VTT will take care of the math and the mods of the interface so you can enjoy your game. How to prepare
You will need: Internet connection 💻 Functional microphone and speakers (or headphones). 💻 A Forge (free) account (https://forge-vtt.com/) 💻 A Chromium compatible web browser Opera, Opera GX, Chrome, or Edge (or its equivalent on mac). 🎮 Discord user account. 🐲 A DnDBeyond (free) account is recommended, but not necessary ❌ Don't bring TRASH (Transphobia, Racism, Ableism, Sexism, Homophobia) to the table. If I, at 50+ years of age, have chosen not to be a prejudiced grumpy old man and treat everyone who approaches me with respect, being younger you can do that, right?
What I provide
I have all the digital assets needed to run the game including: 💻 Virtual tabletop (Foundry VTT) Choice of audio input for soundboard or soundtrack in discord. 💯 Chill game: You don't need to act, do voices, math, or have experience to play. Except for being rude and uncaring to your fellow players, there is no "right" or "wrong" way to play, just different styles for different people. 🧙♂️ Life long experience in teaching playing and mastering TTRPGs 📚 For those of you who just must know the books (I love you for it) I draw for you : We will be using DnD 5e core rulebooks*, Heliana's Guide to Monster Hunting and Ryoko's Guide to the Yokai Realms.

How will character creation work
I'll provide whatever level of assistance you want, the instructions below are only for experienced players: Level 1 characters (if you have a clear idea you can give me an outline of them up to 3rd lvl). All options from the 5 core rule books available as well as Cyclopian, Gobboc, Lotol, Ombrask, Oozekin and Rakin ancestries and all classes and sub-classes from Heliana's Guide to Monster Hunting Modified ability score array: 17 15 13 12 10 8 --or-- Roll with me 4d6 drop lowest up to three times (bad sets are awarded a luck pool) You can move an ancestry (race) +1 from your +2 or a +1 to an ability score that currently has no positive modifier from.✳ Character building may be done entirely thru DnDbeyond, however take into account that some choices (like selecting the tamer class or the ✳ marked change) may force us to do it on foundry. I don't mess with family, friends and significant others unless I have consent, and I encourage you to include some in a short backstory: please give me three "safe" NPCs I won't mess with, and one I can put in peril for you to rescue or for me to put thru "A series of unfortunate events" (Pat. Pending by Lemony Snicket).
