With every decision, your choices will shape not only your character but the world around you. Will you survive the horrors that lurk, or will you be lost forever in the mists? The choice is yours. Step forward, and embrace the mystery that awaits.
Game style
Roleplay Heavy
“Roleplay Heavy” games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Need to remember: - Alignment is important in Ravenloft. - We will be using Sanity stat so you roll for it (4d6 drop lowest). - The method of Char Creation is 4d6 dropping the lowest die (and rolling one extra time for your Sanity stat). - We will not be using Attunement for magical items, body slots define limit. - The game has powers checks (so do not be naughty hehe), 2E rules apply to this. - We will use Milestone Advancement. - We will use manual (Rolled) Hit Points. - Upon character creation you must decide for three positive qualities (Dreams, Desires, Strengths) and three negative qualities (At least 1 Fear(s),Flaws, Regrets). This is important for character development and experience in Ravenloft.

How to prepare
A mic, headphones, a free account on Forge and D&D Beyond, but most importantly a good attitude towards your fellow players and a honed focus for the campaign ahead.
What I provide
I strive to create a fully immersive experience, and I bring a wealth of tools and personal dedication to make each session unforgettable. I run the campaign using Foundry VTT, ensuring smooth and dynamic gameplay with high-quality custom maps, tokens, and images for locations and NPCs. These are all carefully crafted to match the atmosphere and tone of the campaign, allowing you to explore every corner of the world with rich visual detail. I also offer content on D&D Beyond, making it easy for players to track and manage their characters' progress. My approach to being a Game Master is rooted in immersion and creativity. I put great effort into developing unique voices for each NPC, allowing them to feel like real characters with their own personalities and motives. This helps deepen the world and make interactions more engaging. Ambient music, sound effects, and visual effects further enrich the atmosphere, heightening the tension and emotional impact of key moments. Whether it’s the eerie howl of distant wolves or the subtle creak of floorboards in an abandoned mansion, these effects serve to pull you deeper into the world. Combat is another aspect I focus on. I believe in intense, tactical battles that challenge you and keep things exciting. Every encounter will be designed to engage both your strategic thinking and your character's growth. While I respect the rules of the game, I embrace the Rule of Cool, allowing for moments of creative freedom when it enhances the experience—though always with the understanding that it should not break the immersion, especially in a horror campaign. The world will be dangerous, and every choice, even those that break convention, will be weighed against the atmosphere we’re building. Ultimately, I am dedicated to providing a game that is as enjoyable as it is engaging. My goal is for each session to feel like a step further into a gripping story, filled with intrigue, mystery, and the ever-present thrill of the unknown.

We have a break mid-session. I offer a Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist to fill out and we discuss the campaign in depth before begining. After session I am available to discuss and issues.

How will character creation work
We are using 2024 rules. All races from the Player's Handbook are available. Legacy races can be accepted after discussing it. Character Creation will be on D&D Beyond. Ability Score Generation method is 4d6 dropping the lowest result (times two and keeping the best roll since we are online and online dice may act funny), rolls are made on my Discord Channel using Avrae. All classes from the PHB2024 are allowed, legacy subclasses are allowed after discussing it with me. Players should be prepared to live with the consequences of their choices.
