Just played my first session with Seamus and had a blast. It's been a while since I have played and have to say Seamus made it very easy for me to get back into DND as well as make me feel immersed in the story! 10/10!!

Seamus is a great DM! He prepares his sessions with significant detail. Submerging you in a creative campaign story with fun, creepy vibes (in our case), and visceral combat. He presents opportunities for everyone to shine at the table and is available and responsive to character development work out of session. His table is perfect for veterans and new players alike, so definitely give him a shot if he's got your interest and you're reading this!

How to prepare
You'll need a microphone to talk to the rest of the group. I find it real helpful to have webcams going as well, it makes it easier for everyone to connect and have a good time, but it's not a necessity. You will need to set up an account on Discord if you haven't already. That's what we'll use for voice and video chat, and for keeping track of handouts and other info. I'll send you a link to the game, and we'll have some time during our intro session to go over how that works too.
What I provide
A whole mess of maps, tokens, and a powerful virtual tabletop with pretty lights! All the rules you need to create a fantastic and unique character! An adventure full of caverns dark and dank and full of mushroom creatures and murderous dark elf fanatics! Terrible pirates on deep dark underground seas! (Some are terrible because they are terrifying, others are terrible because they are just not so good at piracy)
Gameplay details
During our introductory session, we'll talk about what we want to see in the game. We'll go over some safety tools so that we can make sure everybody's having a good time, and that we're all on board for the content that will come up during play. Whenever anything is unclear or uncomfortable, please call for a quick pause! We will recap, rewind, and rework things as needed. You may also send a note using the in-game chat. We'll talk about what style of play you'd like best, and also take a few minutes to walk through how the virtual tabletop works and get you set up for success!

How will character creation work
We can create characters together during our intro session. Lots of weird stuff is on the table - you'll meet even stranger things down in the dark! If it's your first time creating a character, I'll be on hand to help! The program we'll use to keep track of character stuff makes it pretty easy to pick what you need.
