About the adventure

Masks is a game where you get to tell your own awesome superhero comic book stories about young people standing up to the world around them and paving their own way—with plenty of explosions and madness along the way. A game where you get to both guide the story and be surprised to find out where it’s going. PC ages between 16-21 People of Color, Queer folk, and ally friendly. If you don't like these things, I will happily make a scene for the other players as I verbally eviscerate you and then ban. :) I want to run a game where the players aren't just participants but co-creators of an evolving narrative. This game would focus on collaborative storytelling, where each player contributes to the overarching plot while also weaving in their personal character arcs. These personal stories connect to the game's world, allowing characters to explore themselves in meaningful ways that influence the game's direction. The goal is to create a dynamic experience. I'll introduce new and exciting NPCs that interact with players in unpredictable ways. These NPCs would have their own stories, goals, and relationships, adding depth and complexity to the world. By engaging with these various foils and/or story elements, players will uncover hidden layers of the narrative, discover new quests, and even forge alliances or rivalries that could change the course of the game.
