Humblewood VS Curse of Strahd π³οΈβπ and Beginners Are Welcome!
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign
About the adventure
πΊοΈ Play with real terrain and miniatures, streamed privately just for the group! π§ Battle the great vampire Strahd... πΆ...as animals from Humblewood (and other sources)! π This isn't your classic Curse of Strahd; be prepared for twists! π± Even though you're cute animals, Ravenloft will still be dark and terrifying. Be prepared and open to both the scary and the weird! This campaign will start at level 1 and take us to level 10, with the possibility of going even further if we choose to do so! π» You're cute, but you're deadly! As βοΈ heroic critters (the animal kind!) from π‘ adorable locales, you'll join forces to overtake the machinations of the malevolent force that is Strahd. As you do, you'll discover the power of π friendship, and how it can overcome any and all obstacles...maybe. βββββ ββ ββ β ββββββββββ ββ ββ β ββββββββββ ββ ββ β βββββ I'll let some of my players tell you what you can expect at my tables! π€© "Bryan is a real professional GM. [...] Playing with Bryan is playing made easy. I'd 100% recommend Bryan to anybody looking to have a real professional GM experience and he is so good you'll never want to go back." - Nate π€© "Bryan is an AMAZING GM who really cares that his players have fun and enjoy their time at the table. He creates wonderful scenescapes, interesting puzzles and story hooks, and knows when to let the players give themselves just enough rope to get themselves into trouble and have more fun. I cannot recommend him enough and hope I can join his other games in the future." - Brandon π€© "Bryan is a rare GM that sets the stage for immersion into gameplay (soundtrack, story telling, voice, pace, balance of narrative and mechanics) in a way that role-play with emotions true to your character becomes natural and necessary." - Forestbrew π€© "Bryan is an amazing and attentive DM [...]. He is super inclusive and makes the game a safe space for everyone, and always does his best to make sure everyone is having fun. Frankly, Bryan is a top-tier DM and I cannot wait until next session!" - Angelkin Weeb
Game style
Rule of Cool (RoC)
βRule of Coolβ emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a systemβs rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Roleplay Heavy
βRoleplay Heavyβ games place the focus on the story, the characters, and the world they live within, and tend to lean hard into the various roleplaying elements of the game. These games will frequently find the party talking with NPCs, exploring the personal elements of their backstories, or even having emotional moments around the camp fire.
ADVENTURERS REQUIRED! βSession 0 is used as an introduction to the campaign, our safety tools, expectations of players and the GM, as well as an opportunity for us to get to know each other! Session 0 is charged at the usual rate. π CHARACTER LEVEL 1

How will character creation work
Characters can be made prior to or during session 0 via D&D Beyond and should be created as follows: π« Content Restrictions: All official and partnered third-party content is available. Homebrew/custom content is potentially allowed; please message me to review it! If there is a 2024 version of something, we use that instead of the 2014 version. π« Species: Only animal species are permitted (shifters not included). π Level: As listed in the Recruiting Notes above. ποΈ Stats: Point-buy or standard array. πͺ Gold: 100gp π Starting Equipment: As normal during character creation, plus 1 common magic item.
