Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage (LVL 1-20!)
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign
About the adventure
Chop, chop, chop! This is one of the few adventures that takes you all the way to LVL20! :) Spend an evening drinking in the Yawning Portal. Laugh with your friends. And then, when a simple bar fight isn't enough to get your blood pressure rising... Grab a few bottles of booze and make your way into the Undermountain. Meet interesting monsters - and kill them! :) Find treasures and nightmares beyond your wildest imagination - and finally: The mad mage... In the city of Waterdeep rests a tavern called the Yawning Portal, named after the gaping pit in its common room. At the bottom of this crumbling shaft is a labyrinthine dungeon shunned by all but the most daring adventurers. Known as Undermountain, this dungeon is the domain of the mad wizard Halaster Blackcloak. Long has the Mad Mage dwelt in these forlorn depths, seeding his lair with monsters, traps, and mysteries—to what end is a constant source of speculation and concern.

What I provide
WHAT I PROVIDE Gameplay interface, maps, & dice rolling will be provided via Roll20. Access to game materials and links will be provided in the Prep Materials section after you join. GAMEPLAY DETAILS Players can expect session zero to cover introductions, the group dynamic (alignment/character preferences, lines and veils, etc.), explanations for what the adventure entails as well as expectations for what the players are looking to find. Any house rules or game settings, such as XP leveling, will also be discussed at this time. During sessions they can expect quick flow into or out of combat, some occasional voice work, good knowledge of the rules, and a sharp keeping of start and stop times so we can keep to schedule. Each session will end with a period of questions and comments so I can better gauge how things are going and apply course correct as needed. Every few sessions will also end with a special variation of feedback so we can really hone in on that best game that everyone will enjoy and remember. I will also be available outside of session times for questions and comments if needed.
