About the adventure
As a student at RCC College, you'll spend time on-campus and on quests. I've tweaked Strixhaven for a more classic DnD feel that splits your time between College Time and Radiant Quests: During Radiant Quests, the player goes on radiant missions, mostly from published modules that I really love. The quest affects your school grade, instead of using Strixhaven's random 'exam'. Your own personal plot is pursued in College Time. We progress until graduation! You can even have more than one enrolled student to choose for Radiant Quests once you’ve gotten through semester or two: I want this to be fun for you! It's a duet, so you should especially feel free to reach out beforehand. The type of missions we do involve collaborative feedback from players if they want certain kinds of combat, more heists, or chili cook-offs. I have a few other solo players, so you can take a solo quest, or do one together down thel ine. All quests involve a 'long adventuring day' with only short rests during the quest. You level up quickly: every other quest for the most part. I thought this was a nice campaign for those of us who are more introverted. Also the solo nature makes sure _your_ game keeps going if people leave or go quiet. BIPOC and LGBTQ Friendly. Neurodivergent Friendly. Patient and kind DM.

How to prepare
Get excited! It's very easy to make rolls in Discord to see the outcome of battles. You're going to love PbP.
What I provide
I bring Foundry for showing maps w your tokens on them, and any effects. Discord for visuals.
Gameplay details
Lines/Veils: Show kindness to pets. Pet animals can be 'harmed' by me in combat, but if they reach 0HP they simply run away. Lightly flirting with NPC's is understandable only if you are attempting to move a quest forward. In the same vein, treat all players like they are friends/family: Build clean relationships. We protect minors- even the thieves. If interrogation involves torture (a rare occurrence, ex: not letting an evil wizard 'rest'), I will intervene and fade-to-black. I encourage talk throughout the week, so we can keep the momentum going. No pressure, though. Feel free to ask questions of NPC's, or explore within a scene all on your own. "You decide your level of involvement" I want to encourage interplay between characters, but also, we're just meeting each other, and a lot of people drop! For this reason, I don't integrate characters until after 2 or 3 sessions of playing. At that time, I might assign you a game secret, & we will come up with a way to integrate your character with others' stories

How will character creation work
Characters enter as level two or three, and earn a level based on college quests completed. Almost any species from the old lists are good, along w the 2024 revamped species. You begin with a 2024 origin feat. We can talk about whether you want backstory to be a big part of your character creation, or if you want to build that later.
