About the adventure
You've been called to help at a large harvest festival. Are you the entertainment? Security? Maybe just a visitor to the event? Participate in games and revelry, that is until the pirates show up. Can you save the abbey before winter descends? Learn to play D&D in a play by post setting that happens at your pace and on your own schedule. This game is billed weekly, but play happens throughout the week via text on my discord server. -Learn to play - High fantasy setting - High RP game play. You will be in a world with many loveable (and hate-able) NPC's that you will want to interact with. - Combat streamlined for the PBP setting. Theater of the mind, with maps and images for visuals.

What I provide
A discord server community dedicated to TTRPG and PBP Memorable NPC's in a living breathing world that changes based on character actions... or in-action. A safety system and supportive community for new and veteran players alike.
Gameplay details
This is a play-by-post game played asynchronously throughout the week on my discord server, you will be charged weekly. I post multiple times a day 6 days a week (I take Mondays off of game updates). I encourage players to check once daily, but pressure is not placed for rapid responses. I run a rules-lite system to encourage role play and streamline combat for the PBP format. That being said, what your characters say and do will have consequences. I make efforts to weave in back stories, and encourage players to share the spotlight. I aim for immersive game-play in a cooperative environment. I do not allow PVP, evil characters, and expect players to respect each other's boundaries. I have safety tools in place on my discord server. At any time if you are uncomfortable in game or out, feel free to stop play and we will adjust accordingly. I send out safety surveys to new players, and at the start of any new game. Once in the discord server you will be assigned a role, and join the game specific channels. We will discuss character creation as a group and go over options. I have links and guides to help with this. Plus when in doubt - just ask.

How will character creation work
Characters will be created on D&D Beyond (free website) at level one. Point buy stats 1 common magic item (approved by DM) I have pre-made characters available, or can help build one with you if you'd like.
