Ziena: World of Dead Sun is a DnD 5e game chock full of interesting characters, dynamic combat, political intrigue, and modern fantasy sensibilities! In a world of constant change, miracles, and tragedy, Ziena is a world to laugh, cry, and fight for yourself, for others, or for nothing at all! ~In the world of Ziena, things have never been static or the same after that fateful day. After what should have been the end of the world, the end of 15,000 years of history with the death of the sun god Astera; the world was only saved thanks to several adventurers and the god of magic Ozzyostus, who took his place until such time where they are not needed, turning the sun black from within. With the people in disarray, the planet 60 years later, is on the brink of political chaos in its 16th century styled civilization.~ ~However, the five adventurers made their own country, as if from no where a large land sprouted from the ocean, the size of Alaska. From this land they made their own country, a singular large city that dwarfs all others as a city state, its technology and arcano-tech centuries ahead, called Valorum. The city they made would be one full of adventure, progress, and work for all, or at least that's what they promised.~ ~Valorum is a representative democracy, each of the 16 districts having a governor that runs each. The 16 governors make up a council to decide on national issues alongside the founders. Otherwise, the districts act as autonomous entities making up a larger whole. This is where our story begins.~ Ziena is a vast and rich world, with over 15,000 years of in universe lore and history, with maybe even more under the surface. However, none of that history and lore matters without the characters that inhabit it. Do not let the potential history stop you from getting creative, all characters and potential ideas can at the very least be entertained if not fully integrated into the game, be as creative or derivative as you want! All additional lore of the world will be given in either long form or summery at player query. The only rules are very simple: This game is LGBTQ+ friendly. If you are not ok with that, please look elsewhere. Please respect all the other players in things that might make them uncomfortable, we're all trying to have fun so please try to make this an environment where everyone feels safe and happy Please be willing to engage with the game and the other players, no one is an island!
