About the adventure

Welcome to a Galaxy on fire, ready to do some damage? A universe-spanning war is raging in the far future, and the Moirai have been hired to finish it. Join a specialty unit of mercenary mech pilots brought in to stop the conflict. Employ tactics, cunning, and a lot of explosives as we bring peace and make money. Prep your mech to your exact specifications, learn about the battlefield, and strategize with your squad. The missions will span from small scuffles on the sidelines to encounters in massive space battle. Join a Lancer campaign with a free Session 0! We will build characters, learn the system, and familiarize ourselves with the tools. I run each game on a VTT with character/mech management through Comp/Con.app and provide everything you need to play!

Additional details

How to prepare

At least a mic and decent internet connection. I'll send over any pertinent rulebooks. I'd suggest looking over the player section of the Lancer Core Rulebook ahead of time

What I provide

I'll include: -Visuals, Audio, and Interaction via Foundry VTT -Character/Mech management on Comp/Con -resources for character and mech portraits -Lancer Source books and additional content -Engaging encounters and larger than life characters -Open door for any questions, assistance, and preferences In the average session I LOVE to get into character voices, and try to keep the action moving with both comedy and drama. The combat is VERY tactical in this system, so we'll stick mostly to the rules as they are. But out of direct combat the system is light and easy to play

Gameplay details

Our Session 0 will go over all the content and expectations we might have for the campaign. This is both things we'd like to do and also things to avoid. Lancer itself is based on combat, and strategy heavy. But dont be intimidated! Its a blast to play and is one of the most well balanced combat TTRPGs out there. We'll have plenty of opportunity to learn as we play and using Foundry and Comp/Con makes it ten times easier. Lancer is also inspired and heavily on mecha media, so that's a good guideline for what we may encounter. I'm a huge Gundam fan, so I'll probably take the most inspiration from there. Depending on player preference I might include some narrative and/or player level rules from other systems. But that will depend on the group's complexity comfort zone.

How will character creation work

Character creation will be in our Session 0, through Comp/Con. We'll then export sheets over to Foundry to use on the VTT. We'll also start with low stakes example combat and you can make character changes for the first few sessions(within reason)
