About the adventure
You have always lived in the beautiful rich region of Andya. Full of rich culture, art and creation, and most importantly; gods. The world of Medigai has dozens of ancient gods that people still worship and fear. Lately though, your green farming village is taking a turn: The crops are wilting, the animals are sickly. People whisper that Regis, god of harvest and animals, is angered with your village, others whisper the anomaly is happening all over the world! It's up to you to travel the vast continent of Medigai to learn what has happened and return life to your town. Explore the world full of many cultures, gods, monsters, and opposing forces. In a story influenced by The Odyssey and other ancient mythos, be ready to face many opposing forces and rely on divine help to reach your goal, and ultimately make it back home alive.

Mizuki is an incredible storyteller! She puts her heart and soul into the world to make it immersive and engaging. She uses voices, maps, and excellent dialogue to create a world that is alive and feels so much bigger than the slice you as players get to see. She is inclusive, creative, and really works with you to craft a great collaborative story. I cannot recommend her enough!

Such a bubbly and energetic GM! I had such an amazing time interaction and engaging with multiple NPC throughout our sessions, each with such dramatic personalities that made it so fun to engage with. They did an amazing job always improvising and being in the roles of each NPC and really heightened the tension in high action scenes to hijinks when it called for it. I can't stress how the extra physical acting Alex brought to the table was such a great way to connect and their energy always made me want to give it my all too! I always felt safe at the tables and immediately clicked with our wonderful table and it was so beautiful how Alex crafted our PC's backstories together for a satisfying end. Thank you so much Alex :)

Mizuki has been great. He's really created an interesting story to unwind. Even with our group of independently created characters that are on all ends of a spectrum, they've created a space that there can be respectable conflict and camaraderie. I've loved developing my character with this group and fully recommended this GM!

Alex is the BEST, especially when you're trying out a new system. She helps make it simple but engaging from start to finish and gives breaks during a session so we can get snacks or use the bathroom as we need. I bought this experience for my wife and she loved it as well. Highly recommend!

How to prepare
You will need a Discord and a Play Role account so we can all see each other's sheets and resources. Once you are in the discord we will schedule your character creation call and I will send you the role link. You should also think of what kinds of archetypes or character you would be excited to explore for a longer campaign.
What I provide
I have prepared a huge pantheon and world for you to explore as well as maps. There may be sound effects and the occasional music to enhance a scene! Expect lots of character voices and emotional exploration, I am a RP heavy GM, so while there will be lots of combat and antagonists, expect an emphasis on the story telling aspect of the game. The mechanics are there to help guide us, not to tell the story for us! I will also have a slideshow made with the important rules you may need for the game to run smoothly, that way you don't need to have the whole rulebook out in front of you, unless you're into that sort of thing ;)
Gameplay details
This story is going to be an epic based off of classic mythology so things might get quiet dark, and definitely violent. We will go over things people are not comfortable with exploring in detail during our character creation sessions as well our session 0. There will also be check-ins and after care whenever there is an extreme scene or intense session. This system allows that if your HP drops to 0 you have the option to be unconscious and the choice if your character dies, so if that happens we will discuss what you believe is best for your experience and character.

How will character creation work
We will have a one on one character creation session where I describe the setting in more detail and help you understand the system more. From there we will get an idea of what kind of character you would like to play. This system is interesting in that you start multi-classed so you will have a lot of options to chose from! We will discuss your character's relations ships with the village, your family, the culture and the gods. Then for session 0 will will finalize creation by discussing the relationship of the party and do an intro session to the world so you can start to feel comfortable in the mechanics and setting.
