About the adventure
In the cursed city of Vulffhornn, you and your fellow Dead Gangs hunt horrible abominations, collect strange treasure, and search for clues to end the city’s affliction. Each day the clock ticks closer to the city’s end. Will you and your party find the summoner before the end comes? Or will you collect your treasure and try to escape before the city falls? TLDR: Imagine a medieval ghostbusters with 3 HP. BEGINNERS and VETERANS welcome.

How to prepare
You will need Discord and a Roll20.net account. I’ll invite you to the Discord server and Roll20 game once our players are finalized. Roll20 has easy to use character sheets for Mörk Borg that can roll digital dice for you but I, personally, love real dice and encourage you to use them. The Mörk Borg rules reference: https://morkborg.com/content
What I provide
I bring maps! character options! weird little tokens for the map! As for my GM style, I basically do the two voices every DM does: a bad English accent for posh characters and a gruff New Jersey for low-lifes. I prefer to run games with an “emergent narrative”—i.e. the overall story emerges from the choices we make at the table. I’ve set up Vulffhornn so it can feel like a mini-campaign but the story at our table will completely depend on the players.
Gameplay details
We’ll review the Consent Checklist in our first session. I’ll share it digitally so that players can submit it privately. Mörk Borg is a grimdark game but it is funny. Vulffhornn is a frightening city but it is not a relentless horror. The content warnings here mostly apply to monsters that do not resemble real creatures. That said, there will be character deaths. There will be serious themes around religion, violence, and privilege. This is not a high fantasy game of heroes but something closer to Zombieland. I ask that everyone respect the tone. It will be dark but not overwhelming, scary but not horrifying. No racist, sexist, homophobic, or transphobic comments will be tolerated.

How will character creation work
Characters can be created through the official Mörk Borg Scvmbirther (https://scvmbirther.makedatanotlore.dev/) or through manual rolling. I WILL HAVE PRE-GEN CHARACTERS for late joiners or anyone crunched for time. If you wish to make one manually or have certain customizations in mind, we’ll meet in the Discord room 30 minutes before game time.
