About the adventure

In Realm of the Blood Queen, brace yourself for a spine-chilling adventure that fuses gritty horror with dark, morbid tales and characters that fans of Ravenloft and horror crave. If Curse of Strahd left you yearning for more blood and terror, this campaign promises to deliver in spades. Journey to Wreythau, a bleak island nation plagued by disease, bigotry, the undead, beastmen, and far worse. At its heart stands a capital turned necropolis, ruled by the Dead Emperor—a rotting corpse whose council governs with savage brutality and a thirst for domination. His forces ravage the coasts in a relentless pursuit of resources. Meanwhile, the Church of the Morning Lord has devolved into a fanatical inquisition, waging a holy war not against the undead or beasts but against angels and aasimars. They condemn these celestial beings as heretical and blame them for the land’s suffering and curses, claiming they defy the Morning Lord’s will. Prepare to confront the shadowy and twisted minds of the people and the blood-soaked horrors of this land. Nightmares await any adventurer brave, curious, or greedy enough to delve into the dark mysteries of Wreythau.

How to prepare

Prepare a few character concepts that would fit a character in a grim dark setting, a character that would want to adventure out in to the cursed lands and what reasons they might have for that. Additionally, you will need Discord which is free, you just need to get the application for desktop or mobile/web page. A clear microphone and background. You will need somewhat of an understanding of 5e DnD so at least basic knowledge.

What I provide

I will provide the adventure but beyond that! ☑️My aim is to enhance the adventure with custom artwork, combining illustrations from professional artists that I know for key scenes and AI-generated art for more mundane moments to give them extra visuals. This mix will add spice and create a visually immersive experience hopefully for everyone at the table. ☑️ Hundreds of new maps are added to the adventure to fit scenes and locations where none are provided in the adventure or encounters ☑️ Custom soundtracks for combat, environment, sound effects, and even dialogue ambiance soundtracks ☑️A excellent knowledge of 5e, as I have DM-ed it for 30k hours online ☑️ New handouts and interesting items ☑️ My designer experience to help make the adventure more fun for the group if needed but also interweave your backstory with the world and make it come to life and matter into the world, not just a railroad adventure. As well as design the game so that your actions matter on a larger and smaller scale to the world. I have been designing tabletop and video game adventures and writing stories for a decade, and Try to bring a fresh and unique flavor to your adventures with me and the group. ☑️ Animated maps and effects whenever possible
