About the adventure

🔥🐉🔥Dragon Racing? Sweet! ☁️⛵️☁️Air ships? Awesome! ♨️🐲♨️Hot tubs heated by tiny dragons? Hell Yeah! Dragon kind rule the world of Almaria, with dragons of chromatic, metal, and gem, all claiming their territories throughout it. From the Ruby dragons of the desert, to the Bronze dragons of the Cascade Isles and even the Blue dragons of the Barren Coast. The dragons rule all however they see fit. Some see the civilizations they harbor as their equals, others act like a god king. Such different ideologies have caused tensions to rise creating divides of people and nations. As a new era begins to emerge, where will you find yourself? Will you find plundering sky ships with a crew of other riders? Compete in the racing circuit for fame and glory? Maybe creating a journal of all the dragons you encounter? The choice is yours, The Second World, Almaria, awaits you. What Awaits You: A new era is approaching, Ancient Evils of dragon and beyond are beginning to emerge. High Fantasy and Steampunk: Different regions have thrived in their own ways, some have been helmed by technological advances, creating automatons, firearms, airships and more! While other regions have lived in harmony with their surroundings and created an unbreakable bond with the land and creatures around them! Dragons and Dragons: In Almaria, dragon life can be found from the ancient chromatic dragons, all the way down to ones the size of cat, but both are equally as deadly, and...adorable? There will be no shortage of draconic life to see! Ancient Secrets: The history of this world and the one before it is vast, ancient ruins, interdimensional travel. Will you be the first to make a break through discovery? Our Story Begins: At the festival of the dancing dragon, you look outside your window and see brilliant displays of fireworks, banners, flags and confetti. A gentle triumphant tune can be heard throughout the city, as you ready yourself for the biggest festival in the world. You have come here for the tournament in hopes to be scouted out by some of the top guilds from around the world. Your Story Begins: Come to your own session 0 and find out!

How to prepare

For this game I will have my webcam on, yours is not required but it is preferred. A decent mic will be needed, a Discord account, as well as a DnD Beyond account. Character Creation: You can come into session 0 with a character in mind and we can see how that character will fit into the world! If you don't have a character in mind, here are some ideas that fit well into the campaign! 1. Drake Breeder that sells their litters to military and police use who has been targeted by local gangs. 2. A scholar looking for a rare type of dragon and must ask locals in an attempt to find it. 3. A sky pirate who has last their Wyvern companion and is now looking for them.

What I provide

Custom Maps: Majority of the maps we will use I have created in Inkarnate specifically for this campaign. Unique NPCs: There will be some you will absolutely love! and others you will absolutely despise. All of them with their own personalities and quirks! Dragons, Dragons, and more Dragons: There are gonna be a lot of Dragons Homebrewed content: Almaria is a labor of love with tons of custom content and everyone will get their own magic item unique to their character! The Best Game: Every session I will strive to give you all the best game I can and hopefully give you lots of laugh and maybe some tears!

Gameplay details

I will have a private meeting with every player prior to the start of the campaign to go over the consent and safety checklist that I will always keep on hand for everyone. If a session becomes a little more intense with roleplay or PC/NPC death, then we will take about 10-30 minutes after the session to just talk and ease ourselves out of that state of mind, not all players have to participate in this but I will always leave the option open. We will also take breaks throughout the session. Usually it'll be one 5 minute break and one 10 minute break but this can change based on how the individual or group is feeling. Before the campaign beings I will also have a session 0 with everyone to make introductions and go over general safety and gameplay we want to see going forward (I can't promise any awkward ice breaker questions though!)
