💥Gunmetal Grudge💥 Goblins & Clockwork [LvL 2-10 Remastered AP]
Pathfinder 2e | Campaign
About the adventure
The air in the City of Smog hangs thick with the stench of betrayal. You live the life of an ignominious outlaw, with an ever-growing price on your head, wronged by the city's cutthroat elite. The notoriously corrupt Deputy Shieldmarshal Anjelique Loveless has branded you an enemy of the state, while the unscrupulous businessman Ambrost Mugland has woven a web of deceit that ensnared you in its clutches. You've got a grudge. A Gunmental Grudge. A lifeline appears in the form of Foebe Dunsmith, the gruff but resourceful owner of the Bullet & Barrel Saloon. She proposes a daring heist: robbing the Gold Tank Reserve, a bank owned by the nefarious Mugland himself. This is not merely a chance for a quick score; it's an opportunity to strike at the heart of your enemies. Every coin that flows through the Gold Tank lines the pockets of Loveless and her cronies, funding their oppressive regime. Yet this heist is no simple affair. Foebe has assembled a crew of fellow outlaws, each with their own grievances against the city's power brokers. Trust will be hard-won, as paranoia and suspicion run deep among those who operate outside the law. You'll need to navigate the treacherous underbelly of Alkenstar, evade the ever-watchful eyes of Loveless's enforcers, and outmaneuver Mugland's ruthless security. The stakes are high, and failure is not an option. Will you succeed in robbing the Gold Tank and deliver a crippling blow to your enemies? Or will you find yourselves caught in a web of deceit, betrayed by your allies, and ultimately brought to justice? 💥This campaign is a remastered take on Paizo's Outlaws in Alkenstar Adventure Path!💥

Andy has been my DM for years. He brings a lot of passion to the game, and he does a lot to bring a campaign to life. In addition to the usual game-running stuff he also incorporates “newspapers” from the setting of the campaign, music, character voices, and collecting player input to flesh out the “history” of the setting. If they want to, he works with his players to incorporate their backstories into the campaign too. As a player, I really appreciate that he balances “rule of cool” with respect for the rules of the game. If a player has a fun idea, he tries to find a way to make it work within the mechanics. He also makes sure the session doesn’t get bogged down in mechanics, but still follows up with players to make sure the overall game stays consistent and fair. I also like that Andy does a good job of keeping the campaign challenging with real stakes and choices, without making the experience punitive (unless that’s the point of the specific campaign). I’ve had so many memorable moments “at the table”, both happy and sad. I look forward to game night every week!
Andy has been GMing for me for quite a few years now. I've finished multiple campaigns with him, including some duplicates. He does an amazing job of making even the same campaigns feel unique and exciting. If anyone ever has issues, he works them out and finds compromises. His world-building is intriguing and is shaped by player experiences. He always finds a way to integrate each unique character into the story, whether it's in the spotlight, as part of an overarching plotline, or as a twist. Andy is also excellent at scaling the difficulty of encounters and challenges based on the party, ensuring the experience is engaging for everyone, regardless of their playstyle or skill level. The amount of love and effort he puts into GMing is very evident, and I couldn't ask for a better GM.
I have been a player in Andy's games for just under 2 years, and have really enjoyed my time within his sessions. He's a pretty damn cool, nice, and fun guy to hang out and game with, both in game and while playing other games together. Most sessions are full of plenty of laughs and plenty of opportunities for serious moments as well. He's always open to interesting ideas as long as they make some manner of sense and help make the session/story more fun and lively. Even more so if they are in line with what your character would do or interconnect with your backstory. Pre-game Andy asks questions for Hero Points, which both further immerses the players in the world and has the added benefit of having a hand in fleshing out the world/story. All in all I'd say Andy is an A+ DM and friend.
I've played with Andy for 4 years, and I can say without any doubt that he is one of my favorite DM/GMs I've ever played with. His world-building is detailed and inspiring, and he is always excited to work with players to make a cool idea possible. I tend to be shy and quiet when starting a game with new people, and he was patient and gave me plenty of opportunities to jump in, ask questions, and get into RP. If I had to voice any complaint at all, it would be that our schedules don't mesh enough for me to play in more than one of his games.
I've been playing with Andy for a while and he has been a great GM. Knuldu is a fun world to play in and has many avenues to create interesting characters. Fans of Eberron or world of warcraft will feel at home in Knuldu. Andy is great at using music to set the scene and setting the atmosphere. I personally also enjoy how he has incorporated character backstory into the overarching plot. If you are a player that wants to create a character that fits a unique world and be rewarded for it, Andy will be a great GM for you.
Andy is an amazing GM that weaves the greatest stories for his players. He balances effective table management while making each player feel like their character is an integral part of the story. I enjoy how he entwined my backstories into the greater story. He finds unique ways to challenge his players and loves playing off our creativity. I've been a part of his gaming table for three years and have thoroughly enjoyed each and every session he has run.
