About the adventure
Taking D&D to the Limit! Epic-level D&D is, well, epic. By the time characters are approaching the level cap they become capable of more and more incredible feats, and though 5th edition has scaled things down somewhat the party still begins to function on a level far removed from that of normal men and women. Barbarians will be capable of wrestling giants, Monks will leap to the rooftops in a single bound, Rangers become capable of taking down a battalion of Orcs in a single flurry of blows and Wizards tear apart space and time on a whim. In short, it’s something that every gamer should get to play around with at least once. However, this is something that most groups struggle to achieve. It’s comparatively rare for a campaign to reach beyond level seven or so, and even long-term games tend to reach some sort of conclusion in the mid-teens. Most committed players have some sort of idealized character hanging round in the back of their head, designed to take advantage of all the abilities on offer when you get 20 levels under your belt, but they rarely get to use them. Which is where Don't say Vecna comes in.
The book of vile darkness got stolen by Vecna, you need to travel to Limbo, climb a tower full of monsters to face the Lich himself! Doing this one shot on the wednesdays as my Curse of Strahd campaing doesnt fill up!

How to prepare
You will need to connect via DIscord and foundryVTT, both links will provided. Have at least a good mic, webcam is only necessary if you feel comfortable using it. Be in mind that a level 20 character is not as simple to play, study you class!

Be a Dungeon Master is my full time job, i take it really seriously. I have more than 10 years of experience been a DM, and for this adventure alone i had more than 10 groups playing it. All sort of animated assets of foundry!
Gameplay details
The plain is to complete this one shot in one session, but high level combat tends to take a while, in that case we can finish other day. That said you can expect a bit of roleplay and a tons of epic battles.

How will character creation work
Character Creation Guidelines Rolling up a level 20 character can be tricky for even the most experienced player, to make everyones life easier try to follow this guidelines to build characters within the following limits: The choice for 2014 or 2024 character creation is up to the player. ●You will be built point buy 27 ● Feel free to use as many official books you want, feel free to multiclass! ● Magic items: Allowed from sourcebooks above 1 legendary 1 very rare 3rare or uncommon banned items: wave, whelm, blackrazor, potions of giant size, talisman of pure good, iron flask, broom of flying, adamantine armor, mizzium armor, bag of devouring, horns of valhalla, manual of golems ●That not inclue potions and consumables, for that each of you will have 10k gold that you can buy from the image pinned on the #one-shot text channel on discord . ● Official, published sources only. If you want to use so UA or homebrew let me know frist, but if is cool go for it! ● No PvP, you guys are here to beat Vecna! ● Pick something fun! This is a chance to play with characters capable of great things, so take advantage of it ● Each One-Shot completed can choose: • One Epic Boon from the DMG to a maximum of 5 • Trade 2 Epic Boons for one Legendary item • Trade 5 Epic Boons for one Artifact • Increase 1 Stat block by 2 points per one Epic Boon
