About the adventure
In the Sixth World, corporations call the shots, magic has come back to the world, and metahumanity work for a pittance while the wealthy own everything. The only way to be free is to be a Shadow Runner, someone who does the jobs the people in the light don't want to get their hands dirty with. In Russia it is no different. The corps have a strong hold, and when they don't the state takes its own iron grip where it can. Major Russian cities have the kind of activity you'd expect from any sprawl in the Sixth World, and that means there are jobs to be done. As far as you're concerned, whoever is paying the best at the moment is good enough for you. Consciences are for with the money to afford them, and no one with that kind of money wants one. Russian Shadows is a Shadowrun 5e game for beginners to learn Shadowrun as a system. Veterans are welcome to join and enjoy but this game will feature only the 5th Edition book unless recruiting notes says otherwise. Come run in the shadows of St. Petersburg as you navigate the shifting and difficult life of a Shadow Runner!

How to prepare
Players should have a working microphone, a computer with internet, a forge-vtt.com account, a discord account, and should read the How to Make Things Happen, Character Creation sections of the core book, and browse the gear section.

Gameplay details
This game will use a session 0 to set player expectations, make characters, and discuss safety tools. This game also uses X,N,O cards for player safety during game. X cards stop the game if content that players are uncomfortable with comes up, N cards are used when a player feels content that could lead to an X card is coming, and O cards are used to check in on a player if you feel content may have upset them. This game uses the Lines and veils safety tools. Lines are content that players do not want in the game at all. Veils are content that players only want hinted at. The default lines and veils at this table are No Sexual Assault, No Racism, No Homophobia, No Misogyny. This game will have a 10 minute break if it goes beyond the 2 hour mark. This game also has an open door policy, so players are free to leave for any reason if they need to.
