About the adventure
Let's make our game together! Session 0 we begin with the setting (classic era which is the original trilogy if you must ask, talk to someone older than you). We will work on rules and basics. A lot of us love Star Wars and I am one of them. I've been running and playing this for over 20 years. With one game going for 20 years. Lets make our own new campaign right here. Have you been watching Skeleton Crew? Or are you someone only familiar with the old movies? or both!? No matter what it's all good. Also here and now there won't be any force users/jedi... this will be explained further in session 0, let's just say it causes more issues for not only that person but the group, I've been doing this a long time and some of my best groups are devoid of force users. *Base Scenario I have created that you will be a part of and make alive: Bespin: Cloud City! (Empire Strikes Back.) You are each there for various reasons based on character background (Examples: live on, end of a tour or part of one, family visit, end of helping with cargo run etc, I can assist.) The scenario will take place just after the first Death Star (battle of Yavin, New Hope) has been taken out, about a few months have past, so it is still on the Holonet but not as crazy wide as before. Cloud City is privately controlled as of now but that doesn't mean there won't be outside influences or visibility from either side. There might be just criminal organizations, corporate and other parties and just neutral ones there for their own gain. *What if the group that attacks or comes upon the situation are pirates? What if your background leans toward you wanting to join them? But your fellow colleague isn't in line with this... let us play it out... What if the group coming upon the town is an imperial garrison who keeps taking more than they should and your family has ties to the rebellion but a friend of yours serves in the garrison? Which way will you go? Questions about characters and ideas and finalization in session 0. We can discuss particulars in session 0, like can I be a droid, alien, or what kind of equipment can I have? Yes to most, but with a lot of careful considerations. Droids are tools and are owned and don't have rights (you wont be a battle droid). Aliens are everywhere though a lot come with cons Wookiees (also cant speak basic) and are hunted by the Empire and are enslaved as are Twi'leks. Will you join? May the force be you!

How to prepare
Webcam be great/mic. Prepare by watching the movies if you want or any Star Wars content! We will create characters together in session 0. I will also have pre-gen made characters for those not wanting to make own. If we get done early and ready to start we will. Discord account etc.
What I provide
Ambient background music if its not too distracting. Ill try and keep my voices in check and on task (haha you will see). In session 0 we will go over the rule basics, rule adjustments and understand that something just happen. Lets roll using discords dice maiden. I have hundreds of star wars books from WEG both physical and digital. I will post and bring different aspects for the game as needed. *A newly created never done before made for you/us to create explore and make ours adventure based to start in Bespin: Cloud City! This place has luxury on top, industrial crippling struggles on bottom, and everything in between. With a population of 6.5 million. Its like Chicago or New York floating in the upper atmosphere of Saturn or Jupiter if you could breath there! More will be revealed and discussed in Session 0. *21 pre-gen Characters to choose from 7 droids, 7 humans, and 7 aliens! All with unique skill sets and ready for you to customize if you wish. Yes if someone wants to be like multiple of same, why not! We can change things up and adjust, say we decide to make a group of all humans (easier for dealing with the Empire or joining them if that's your route and they get bonus skill dice to start or say want to be a group of ? aliens). We can adjust and go for it... You may also create own character based on regular guidelines/rules we discuss in session 0. *Star Wars has Great Characters and Stories... but it also has awesome Ships! First the Millennium Falcon, now The Onyx Cinder! Eventually you will have yours! I will be bringing a full deckplan and like to use a cannon pic of actual ship. Yours will be unique, quirky (as in it may have struggles in some spots or do something well or both) and you will make it your own.... Examples in past groups: --- having to literally build one from 4 different ship parts to make one, so its real puzzle and quirk machine! But it literally is their own. ---a freighter found in a swamp that they kept its namesake for from planet and look, and still has some plants from it, thought looks rough kept them alive and its fast as can be! Does this mean your character has to know how to fly, operate or use a ship control? no, you can learn or do something different on board... repair, shoot guns, operate sensors, astrogate (that's jumping to hyperdrive)... so yeah its ok and you may all be learning!

Using Debriefing and Aftercare will be important to me as a therapist I know how certain elements can affect people but I always try to make games entertaining and fun.

How will character creation work
Session 0 we will create Characters after some basic rules and the setting is discussed and verified and agreed. Classic Era (original Trilogy) Right after first death star is blown. The galaxy is in turmoil a group of what was thought to be a few ragtag organizations gather together and took out the Empires greatest weapon only after a few years... how does your character feel about these rebel scum? Do you feel the oppress boot of the empire? Or are you just on the fringe trying to make a living?
