About the adventure
On the night of the winter solstice, the cozy logging town of Ambershandy settles into quiet anticipation. Families tuck their young ones into bed, dreaming of tomorrow’s festivities. But as the moon rises and the town’s glow fades, a sinister figure emerges. With cloven feet and icy hands, a malevolent being known as Superstitious Mark prowls the empty streets. He silently places peculiar presents beneath the evergreen trees in every home, their shadows flickering in the glow of crackling fireplaces. As his task is completed, Mark retreats to his secluded mountain cabin, eager to hear the chaos his "gifts" will unleash upon Ambershandy. What mischief or magic do these mysterious packages hold? This festive oneshot is perfect for beginners and experienced players alike, offering a quick night of Dungeons & Dragons filled with Christmas magic, mystery, and a touch of holiday mischief. Will your party uncover the truth behind Superstitious Mark and save Ambershandy in time for the solstice celebration?

How to prepare
A mic will be needed, a webcam would be recommended(So we can see each other). This is helpful for player interaction. We will be using Discord. Try to have a method rolling dice but if you don't have one a method will be provided in Discord.
What I provide
I will provide pregenerated characters for anyone who wants them. I will also provide holiday themed music. With this being a Oneshot while I will be following the rules of D&D if a player wants to do something fun I will follow the Rule of Cool.
Gameplay details
Minimum Rating: PG:13 - Can be past this depending on situation and group We will be using the Lines and Veils tool, this tool is intended to put limits on the game. Lines are things you as a player don't want to happen at all in the game, hard stop. Veils are things you don't want described and if they happen in game it will just 'fade to black' and then the game will continue. Open Door means that is any player wants to they can take a break from the game if they feel they need it, no questions asked. Stars and Wishes is at the end of a session where players can say what they liked and what they want to change. CODE OF CONDUCT - NO Bullying, hazing, or otherwise picking on a fellow character. You are a team and as such will treat each other with respect. - NO Sexual content (sweet talking may be used as a form of persuasion but ONLY with NPCs) Try and keep it pg-13 at least in this area - NO Shutting down other players ideas or actions. Each player has a chance to voice their thoughts or intent. If you say "My character will try..." after I determine if the game allows that action, we will then play out the outcome. If you ask the party for their opinion, then that action can be decided upon by the group (in or out of character). There are no wrong answer or suggestions. This is overridden if you feel uncomfortable with something someone is doing. If during a live game something comes up that is making you uncomfortable, please speak up and the event/action will cease immediately.
