About the adventure
You've been gone for 3 months in an unknown location. Now, 3 months after you have returned, you are one of the chosen adventurers in the head delegation to find the truth behind the missing moment. On the night of “missing moments”, countless people walked through portals that opened and showed them what they most desired. Most of those who crossed the portals never returned, but few came back after hours, days, or even weeks. All of those who returned lost all memory of what happened on the other side of the portal, they all carry a mark, a tattoo, on their back or neck, and they all gained powers that never existed before. Are you prepared to find the truth behind the Missing moment?

About me
Heyo, Im Charlie/ Cheesy (She/ her), a professional GM here to create some fun games with you! I run Pathfinder 2e, DnD5e and some more systems (Monster of the week, Mothership and more). My games are inclusive and LGBTQIA+ friendly, and I make sure my table is always safe. Interested in what I have open? Check out my games here at StartPlaying! Interested in the CheesyGMing community? Check out my server! If you are joining but not a player yet, you can still access the community topics, but once you join a game you also have access to the game's private channels :) Any rudeness, unkind messages or hate speech is not accepted. https://discord.gg/J94MnhQ2Zz Check out my podcast: I GM a podcast of a Pathfinder 2e adventure (Seven Doomd for Sandpoint), called Of Dice and Dinner! https://linktr.ee/ofdiceanddinner

Creating your character
I recommend players to have a built character, but I will happily help create those for anyone needing a little extra help. We will be playing with the remaster rules. We will either use the deviant power rules and no free archetype or use a free archetype but no deviant powers. This will be decided by the group in advance.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Sessions will be digital, so the following will be needed from players: - a "Pathbuilder app/web" - a "Foundry VTT" account - a "discord" account - a microphone A plus: - a webcam Maps and visual props are easy to share with Foundry, but the video and audio will be with Discord. We will be rolling dice in Foundry. For any personal communication between a player and myself (for example, if you wish to stop the scene\ session for any reason), there will be a private channel in Discord.
What CheesyGMing (Charlie) brings to the table
I bring the full Adventure of Gatewalkers, as well as Maps in Foundry VTT. I embrace the rule of cool but in a logical amount with the system.
Homebrew rules
Hero points- Start every session with a hero point, and reset every session to 1. Hero point = the HIGHER result. Gain a hero point: on a NAT1, or when a different player suggests you should get one :)

How CheesyGMing (Charlie) creates a safe table
Lines and vails (in the form of a consent survey) will be sent through a link prior to session 0. After reviewing all forms, session 0 will go over which topics will be included and excluded from the campaign. In session 0 we will match group expectations from this campaign, and go over character building. Gatewalkers is not a heavy campaign however I will still be using X, N and O cards. My X, N and O cards will be digital (so I can view them as quickly as possible) and private. No player should feel uncomfortable to stop because it might 'ruin the scene', or feel afraid to ask to stop. All content warning topics can be adapted, removed or changed, but I still recommend reconsidering this campaign if multiple topics are an issue. Sessions will end with stars and wishes; what would you like to experience more? Less? What did you enjoy this session and how can we keep the fun going? I want you to feel comfortable reaching out, if something is on your mind, please tell me about it so we can solve the issue. There is no need to wait until the next session starts.
