About the adventure
This is a Learn-To-Play campaign of the Cyberpunk RED game system. If you are a fan of Cyberpunk 2077, Blade Runner, Robocop, and similar medias, you'll find familiarity in this game and setting, though far from the whole scope of the city (not that we'll be that far reaching realistically). Within this system, you are able to integrate yourself into a cyberpunk world where you have Skills that you excel in, deep connections to the story and other characters, and violent combat that could flatline you if you're reckless, which you should be. This d10 system is wonderfully crafted into Foundry to help you with your Character Sheet every step of the way. Come become a legend in Night City! With this being aimed at beginners, there will be ample time dedicated to learning the game mechanics and rules to help us enjoy the game it's designed to be. ๐ฒ Foundry VTT will provide an efficient game play space including automatic DV scaling based on distance and more - so you can focus on looking cool and have fun!

Playing with GM Ryan A on StartPlaying.games was an absolute blast! He is detail oriented and debriefs the players thoroughly during his preparation for the campaign as a GM before hand. His knowledge of the VTT & D&D rules was phenomenal and when blended with the "rule of cool" attitude, it made every decision feel exciting and impactful. The combat was cleverly designed, keeping us all on our toes. The VTT setup is one of the best I've seen. What truly stood out was how seamlessly I was integrated into the campaign having not been an original member โ I felt like a valued part of the story from the beginning. Highly recommend for a engaging D&D experience!

Ryan is a great DM! How to prepare
โญ Read over some of the instructions of the game through a community resource available below, or after joining, in the Google Doc providing everything you need. โญ Cyberpunk RED is a gritty, cyberpunk game where character death is expected. Bring with you a mindset of fun, crazy roleplaying situations, but don't expect to have your character live through the whole story, though you might be lucky to do so. How will character creation work
๐ฅ We will utilize pre-made characters first. They will be used until either death or you feel comfortable making your own character. A character generator tool will be provided for optional convenience. ๐ฅ Utilize the Companion App for best character creation process. Then, I will import the characters to Foundry VTT. Companion App: https://cyberpunkred.com/#/ Use TEMPLATE for premades/first times, or FAST & DIRTY if you want more control. If you have previous Cyberpunk RED experience, you can make CALCULATED. ๐ฅ Cyberpunk RED offers great community support, some additional, 3rd party sources will be allowed/used for more exciting content. ๐ฅ We will discuss characters in session 0/1 and then anyone who joins afterward must schedule a 1-1 with me to meet and discuss that and the game.
