Warlock! Once More unto the Breach!
Warlock!, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay | Campaign
About the adventure
Wyrdstone is not free, it is paid for in blood, sweat, and tears! A Warlock RPG Campaign Set in Mordheim Enter the shattered, cursed city of Mordheim, where dark alleyways, ruined buildings, and the ever-present threat and promise of wyrdstone beckon those brave enough (or foolish enough) to make their fortune. In this Warlock RPG campaign, your warband has ventured into the heart of the City of the Damned, seeking treasure, power, and perhaps something far darker. The gods are fickle, rivals abound, and danger lurks around every corner. Will you seize the opportunity, uncover the secrets buried beneath the city's ashen ruins, or succumb to the chaos that devours all who enter? The game follows a simple, flexible set of rules that allows players to delve into a dark fantasy world, where every choice could mean riches or ruin. You and your warband will need to navigate the treacherous streets, forge temporary alliances, and use whatever means necessary to survive. Scavenge for supplies, face off against other warbands, and explore eerie locations—all while uncovering the mysteries of Mordheim. From deadly encounters with monsters to hidden treasures and magical relics, your journey is fraught with peril. This game is perfect for those who enjoy fast-paced, narrative-driven roleplaying with an emphasis on creativity and problem-solving. Whether you're a hardened veteran or a newcomer to Mordheim's streets, there's a place for you to carve out your legacy in this doomed city. Expect: 🤴 Rich narrative experiences with opportunities for roleplaying, combat, and exploration. ⚖️ A focus on group dynamics, resource management, and moral choices. 🧌 Interaction with the city’s strange inhabitants, including secretive factions, treasure hunters, and ancient curses. 📖 A flexible ruleset, ideal for players who want a quick yet immersive experience. Join us in the City of the Damned—where every step could bring you closer to fortune, or to a grim end.
Game style
Rule of Cool (RoC)
“Rule of Cool” emphasizes creative story beats over sticking to a system’s rules as written. Players have the ability to push the limits of the rules or even break core rule mechanics at times if the Game Master thinks it is interesting, fun, or cool enough.
Theater of the Mind
“Theater of the Mind” uses little to no visuals for scene settings and combat. Instead, the narrative imagery comes from the Game Master’s descriptions and character action and movement comes from Players’ descriptions.
We are currently recruiting for this campaign. If you have any questions, please, contact me. New players are encouraged to arrive at their first session 30 minutes early, to create their first character.

Gameplay details
We are using the Warlock! OSR rules as written with exceptions made only for background and setting. Combining the Warlock! OSR rules with the Mordheim setting, we dive into the city of the damned on a quest for wyrdstone! To the victor goes the spoils! We are drawing heavily on the Mordheim setting and the surrounding lore. Players are welcome to create other elements of the story and their background, as we build the world together.

How will character creation work
New players are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early to their first session to create their first character. We use the rules as written to create characters. Roll20 has a character sheet that makes character creation fairly easy. Some of it is "less than intuitive," but I will help if needed.
