How to prepare

Players should have access to a Computer (desktop, laptop, or otherwise), a Stable Internet Connection, and a Discord Account. Players should have a Microphone OR be proficient with Discord's Text-to-Speech Functionality if they lack a microphone or are unable to speak for an extended period of time. If you need to create a Discord account, go to Discord.com and follow the instructions. Players do not need to be familiar with the rules, but it never hurts to give them a read! I am more than willing to teach and explain things as often as needed! Character creation is done collaboratively, and I will make pre-made characters available upon request at least 4 hours before the game starts. Generally, it should be assumed that players are prepared to create their characters in Session 0 with my assistance.

A highly customized Foundry VTT client with everything from animated introductions for major fights, and high-quality visuals and tools to help your character express themselves in the game! A Private Discord Community Server so you and fellow players can mingle and share your tales and stories! High-quality maps and Scenes to help players visualize themselves in the spaces they occupy in the game! An extensive library of ambient and combat music to help you remain immersed in the game! A deep and thorough understanding of the game's rules and mechanics, as well as a flare for the tale being told!

Gameplay details

Important: I employ a specific set of tools both during and after sessions. During Sessions, my Virtual Table Top (Foundry), which my games are run in, has a module that allows any player to immediately call for a pause, fade to black, intermission, fast-forward the scene, or retroactively roll back and redo a scene. This will be one of the 1st things I point players toward, and I will frequently remind them of its presence and make sure everyone is familiar with its use. Some games will also require external surveys, such as through Google Forums so I can best place you and keep a defined record of what I need to keep in mind when running for you and your group(s). These forums can be updated if needed, but serve as a reference for myself. Anything I present to other players will be anonymized and without revealing details.

How will character creation work

Character Creation will be handled in Session 0 (a pre-play Session intended to discuss the game, expectations, safety tools, character creation, etc., prior to actual play), with stats, starting levels, characters, etc., being discussed or explained during the course of Session 0.
