About the adventure
Start your own Lord of the Rings adventure path, using the D&D rule set! Individual players welcome. No experience with Tolkien, D&D or Fantasy Grounds necessary. “It's a dangerous business, going out your door. You step onto the road, and if you don't keep your feet, there's no knowing where you might be swept off to.” Create a hero for the struggle ahead: a Dwarven Champion, an Elven Captain, a Human Scholar or maybe a Hobbit Treasure Hunter! Your hero will meet the other player characters at the Inn of the Prancing Pony. Your quest will take you to the Misty Mountains and the Mines of Moria, where the dwarves delved too deep... This epic fantasy campaign will take characters from levels 1 to 10, set in Tolkien's Middle Earth, and taking place between the events of *The Hobbit* and the *The Fellowship of the Ring*.

How will character creation work
Players may participate in a 'Session 0' for character generation. Characters will be created in Fantasy Grounds. Character options are restricted to the Lord of the Rings Roleplaying source book from Free League Publishing. Note that D&D Beyond does not support Lord of the Rings Roleplaying for 5th edition.
