About the adventure
Hey everyone, I'm opening up seats in a new homebrew D&D5E campaign using the 2014 ruleset! This game will take place on Thursdays at 7PM EST weekly! The plan is for it to be a shorter campaign consisting of a handful of multi-session adventures, and I'm expecting it to take around 8-10 weeks to complete. The story is as follows: "In the land of Ekros, East and West are divided by a massive mountain range that runs through the center of the continent like a great gray spine! This mountain range, long known as the Stoneriver is home to the remains of the Great Dwarven Mountain Kingdoms - once a mighty nation that held absolute dominion over the entire continent the old Holds of the Dwarves began slowly disappearing beneath the Stonerivers peaks - now only a handful remain, with each of the four Holds being ruled independently of the others. One of these Holds - Baor Uxjar, ruled by King Brokshilgir the Reclaimer, is the northernmost monarchy, devoted to its attempts to recover lost Dwarven cities and artifacts. Recently, the mighty reclaimers have uncovered a powerful secret that may be the key to restoring the Dwarven Mountain Kingdoms to their former glory. But this powerful secret has earned the undivided attention of a powerful evil lurking in the darkness below the mountains."

How to prepare
A mic and a Roll20 account are required to participate in this campaign. It is highly recommended that you read the rules ahead of time. Characters will be created prior to the first session, either during the brief workshop at the end of Session 0, or separately.
What I provide
This game will use Roll20 as a VTT, complete with custom maps, tokens, and handouts! Expect planned encounters to be played out on a tactical map, with random encounters being performed Theater of the Mind While not a professional voice actor, I do try to immerse my players with ambient music, character voices, and vivid descriptions! We will be using the D&D5E ruleset from 2014
Gameplay details
A free session 0 will be used so everyone has a chance to get to know each other and ask any questions. There we will go over the nature of the campaign and what the players can expect from the game. I have an open door policy - at any time a player can message me to discuss a sensitive topic or question, and I will reply ASAP!

How will character creation work
During Session 0 we will go over the character creation process. Characters will start the game at 3rd level! Only the Players Handbook will be available for choosing your characters race, but any official book is acceptable for choosing character classes and archetypes.
