Blood Lords: A Journey to Power in Geb! Beginners Welcome!

Pathfinder 2e | Campaign

About the adventure

Welcome to Blood Lords, an unforgettable journey into the dark heart of Geb, where life and death are mere states of being, and ambition is everything. As one of the poor souls in a nation ruled by the undead, you’ll navigate the shadowed streets of Graydirge, Geb’s most endearing (and decaying) border town. Here, among the skeletal merchants and ghastly bureaucrats, a lesser living Blood Lord named Berline Haldoli offers you an unusual opportunity: complete her “small” task, and she’ll reward you with an estate of your own. But remember, in a place where backstabbing is the official sport, you’re just as likely to end up as her next loyal zombie servant if you fail. The stakes are high, and the rewards are enticing—but Geb’s political landscape is anything but stable. The Blood Lords, a cunning council of vampires, necromancers, and other undead, rule with iron fists and skeletal smiles. Rising through their ranks means dealing in secrets, sabotage, and endless subterfuge. One moment, you’re currying favor with a noble ghoul; the next, you’re racing to complete a mission before a rival undermines you. All the while, you’ll contend with the ominous, omnipresent threat of your undead overseers, who view loyalty and expendability as two sides of the same gravestone. Blood Lords is a 1–20 level adventure path that will plunge you into the depths of Geb’s twisted society, leading you across haunted landscapes, cursed ruins, and labyrinthine courts where each step could very well be your last. Do you have what it takes to seize power, dodge reanimation, and ultimately stake your claim to power in the land of the undead? Only the bold—and the ruthless—survive here, so sharpen your mind, watch your back, and prepare to find out if you can make a name for yourself without losing everything else.

How to prepare

You will need a microphone, a device capable of running Foundry VTT on a browser, and an account on discord, whether through the webapp or the browser. A webcam can be used if you would like to do so, but I will not be playing with one. You should probably have a basic understanding of how the game is played, how your class works, and how to build a character in Pathfinder 2nd Edition, but it's not entirely needed, as I am usually available to help anyone that needs it.

What I provide

I will provide a Foundry VTT experience with certain modules to enhance the game experience, as well as to take the load off of certain mechanics. The official maps for the AP are provided by Paizo and are ready to go at a moment's notice. Should the need arise, I can also create, or source maps needed for certain uncommon or rare situations that the party may find themselves in. I do character and monster voices for the most part, although I struggle to perform a good female voice, so those are rarer to hear. I try to stick to the rules as written (please, correct me if I'm wrong about something!), but I am not averse to bending the laws of the game at times to create a better storytelling experience. The game can and *will* be deadly at some points, but it shouldn't be a common situation, unless something has gone horribly wrong. Additionally, I provide and allow most of the content for Team+ (missing wizards+) for character building within the Foundry VTT. If you can provide me with the materials for other 3rd party homebrew, such as Battlezoo, or other 3rd party creators, I am not averse to allowing them in my games as well.

How will character creation work

We'll be using the Free Archetype variant rule, as well as the Ancestry Paragon variant rule, and the characters should be made during session 0. You can arrive with a prepared character at session 0, but party composition, strengths, and weaknesses should always be taken into account.
