About the adventure
In a distant land polluted by an alien menace from beyond the stars, a great cancer grows within the earth. As its tendrils reach out through the dreams of those who learn and study its existence, a sinister cult grows more active in preparing the way for a devastation that will destroy more than the minds of would-be heroes. Can the adventurers reclaim lost memories in time to stop the advance of a cataclysmic contagion that could threaten all of Golarion? Can they resist the mind-shattering truths revealed by the Yellow Sign, and the monstrous force it symbolizes? The Strange Aeons Adventure Path pits the heroes against the cosmic horrors of the Cthulhu Mythos, with new monsters, mind-shattering terrors, and explorations far beyond the known lands of Golarion. Strange Aeons is the nineteenth Pathfinder Adventure Path campaign, it features Lovecraftian elements, including elder gods, mental illness, and the Necronomicon. It has decent amount of RP, exploration and investigation as well as challenging fights. There will be some personal stuff for your character, and I will adjust the game style according to your wishes. If you are new to pathfinder, I will help you with your character if you need me to.

Max is a fun GM to play with and he’s very patient about helping people learn the mechanics of the game. He follows the rules, but isn’t a rules lawyer and that makes the game enjoyable and keeps the focus on where it needs to be: having fun!

I've been playing a series of Call-of-Cthulhu one shot's with Max for several months now. He's great. He's very patient and encouraging with new players. He does different voices and accents for different characters and that really adds to the immersion. Some of them he gives amusing personalities. Hard to be sure without looking behind the GM screen, but I'm pretty sure he adjusts the difficulty on-the-fly depending on player count and how the players are doing, and is able to do so in a way that still seems like a natural part of the story. So the game is always a fun challenge, and never too easy or too difficult.
