How will character creation work

To embark on this thrilling and dangerous journey, we’ll be creating characters using the Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition rule set. You’ll take on the role of brave investigators, each with unique skills, backgrounds, and motivations. Here’s what you need to know for character creation: Occupation: Choose an occupation fitting the 1920s setting, such as archaeologist, journalist, private investigator, or explorer. Your occupation defines your core skills and role within the group. Skills: Allocate points to a wide range of skills, from archeology and history to firearms and stealth. You’ll need a balance of talents to survive the physical, mental, and supernatural challenges ahead. Backstory: Flesh out your character’s motivations, personal connections, and past experiences. Why have they become involved with Jackson Elias? What drives them to face the unknown? Sanity and Survival: In Call of Cthulhu, your investigator's sanity will be tested constantly. Keep in mind that surviving the horrors of this world is about more than just physical prowess—your mind will be as much at risk as your body. Prepare to dive deep into the mysteries of the unknown. The choices you make during character creation will shape your journey and determine how well you withstand the creeping dread that awaits.
