The Twisted Webs We Weave[Magnus Archives TTRPG - Cypher]
In a world where the darkness is always out of reach. What will happen when it decides to take hold?
About the adventure
What makes a good horror story? Is it the verbose description given to even the smallest feeling or inanimate object? Is it the heavily flawed characteristics of the victims, heroes, and monsters that fill up its pages? Perhaps it is the feeling of pure abject bliss/terror one feels while envisioning them? The one thing most people agree on however, is that horror stories are just that...stories. What if there was a business that existed that took it seriously? Sitting in the middle of Piccadilly Rd in London England sits The Magnus Institute with it's motto emblazoned above it's doors: Vigilo-Opperior-Audio welcomes all who enter it's doors to make a statement if anything supernatural has occurred to them regardless of how far fetched it may be. As such, many "legitimate" places of supernatural research frown upon this 'government-funded eyesore'. Even so people make their way to unburden themselves of the supposed unexplainable horrors they have experienced. As employees of this instrumental edifice it is your duty to investigate the statements made by patrons. Will you experience horrors beyond your wildest imagination or will the world prove to be just as boring as always?

About me
Hi! I'm softservebl but my friends call me Joe! I've been involved with ttrpgs since the mid 2010s and have been a GM for the past several years. GMing is what gets me through the otherwise monotonous drone of my life and I always relish the chance to create something fun and unique for those that sit at the table with me. I love multiple systems but have recently found my home with Pathfinder 2e as my main system to run. If you ever wanna try something a little more obscure I am 100% down to run it! My first character I played where I finally understood my style of playing was Henri Riberi a half orc sorcerer who just wanted to be loved by his elder brother and through pestering him for the campaign made some friends along the way.

Creativity
World Builder
Oh buddy, where to start? He is EXCEPTIONAL when it comes to playing. Not just on a professional level but on a person-to-person aspect as well. Hours and hours of fun are had with him and the creativity he throws into his games. He makes it very accessible and easy to pick up for new players and happily explains mechanics to anyone who needs it, and with more veteran players he can be ruthless. which is just as fun. He is a man who can easily weave an incredible story together with your characters. You are in for a treat with any game you play with this man. Cheers! You have been incredible to play with!
This DM took the time to engage everyone with character creation and their background which eventually grew as the game progressed. The world he shaped felt real and really impacted some of the players emotionally. Overall, a great experience and will love to be part of more of his games in the future. If you are new to TTRPG, this is one DM you'll remember.

Once you are in the discord server I'll equip you with the game's role. This will give you access to the rpg checklist to fill out. Every session has one ten minute break about midway or as close to it as we can get. Foundry is equipped with X,N,O cards as a system to use if ever a player feels uncomfortable and from then on the issue will no longer be used in the campaign.
