About the adventure

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.... It is the dawn of the High Republic. Trade flourishes, families grow, and everywhere are the weapons of the GREAT WAR laid to rest across the Galaxy. Architects of the disarmament are the Jedi Knights, the guardians of peace and justice. They took no side in the terrible conflict but wielded the FORCE to defend the weak and innocent. Little do they know that a new and terrible power is growing in the shadows, and soon this ENEMY will strike when least expected.... _______________________________________________________________________ In this campaign, you play Jedi Knights tasked with overseeing military disarmament on a distant world. This seemingly mundane mission will soon reveal a new foe that threatens the High Republic, the Jedi, and perhaps even the Force itself. Your characters will be essential to the Galaxy's survival. It will be up to you to warn the Jedi Order, convince the Republic's squabbling factions of the threat, and ultimately face the enemy's most terrible champions on the battlefield.

Recruiting notes

We will make characters as a group during Session Zero. Characters will be standard Force and Destiny starting characters. At the GM's discretion, Careers and Specs from Age of Rebellion, Edge of the Empire, and other FFG material may be available when it is relevant to a good concept.

How to prepare

A microphone is required. You will need an account with Roll20 (free) and Discord (free). Access to a copy one of the FFG Star Wars core rule books is recommended.

What I provide

We will use Roll20 for any necessary dice rolls, handouts, maps, character sheets, etc. We will use Discord for Video-Chat. My GM style relies very heavily on character motivations and player drive. While the first scenario will be set for the players, choices matter, and what happens next comes down to them. All you really need though is a desire to roleplay your character, and the maturity to play well with others.

Gameplay details

At the beginning of the first session, we'll discuss Lines and Veils, and other safety tools. After each session, we'll discuss Stars and Wishes (and XP!). Further debriefing and discussion can take place in group or one-on-one after the session is over. There is no room at my table for Real-Life sexism, racism, ableism, ageism, homophobia, transphobia, abuse, aggression, bullying, or any other kind of toxic behavior against any other player. You get one warning only, because anyone can make a mistake. After that, you're gone, but if it's really egregious, you won't even get a warning.

How will character creation work

Players will make their characters together in Session Zero. All character creation dice rolls will need to be done on the Roll20 page setup for the campaign. Pre-gens will also be available for those that desire them. This is primarily a Force & Destiny campaign, but Careers and Specs from the other FFG lines (i.e. - Edge of the Empire, Age of Rebellion, etc.) are available.
