About the adventure
Your patron and friend, Gundren Rockseeker, has tasked you with the safe delivery his wagon of supplies to the nearby, rough and tumble town of Phandalin. The journey is short but fraught with danger, bandits and outlaws are known to lurk along the trail. Lost Mine of Phandelver is a relatively short campaign, taking 10-15 sessions to complete on average. Making it the perfect entry point for new players to experience the wonderful world of D&D! The campaign takes you from level 1 to 5 and includes a healthy balance of D&D's three pillars: exploration, roleplay, and combat. So what are you waiting for? An invitation? You are?! How to prepare
You will need to set up free accounts on both Discord and Roll20 as well as have a clear mic - preferably using a headset/earbuds for audio to reduce mic feedback. I personally will have my webcam on and I strongly encourage players to do the same if they feel comfortable to - this creates a much more immersive and personal experience.

Gameplay details
All players will complete a Monte Cook RPG consent form prior to the first session. These will be kept anonymous from the other players and will be consolidated to create a master consent form that all players must abide by. The first session will be Session Zero - in which we will get to know each other a bit, discuss the master consent form so that all players are aware of any "no go" topics before play begins in Session One. During session Zero, we will create/choose our characters and go over some basic concepts and rules for dungeons and dragons.

How will character creation work
Don't feel like you need to know how to play before Session Zero. We will discuss the story, create characters, an run through some key concepts before diving into the action on Session One If you are overwhelmed by the choices in character creation, there are 5 premade characters that can be used.
