How to prepare

What to Have Discord, headphones, and a working mic! I use Above VTT for my digital table top so the browser extension will be needed to play the game proper. A first level character with background equipment and an uncommon magical item as long as it isn't a campaign specific item (unless of course it's Strixhaven in this case)!

What I provide

What I Bring to the Table Primarily I will bring a story altered to immerse you and your characters with an array of background music, digital maps, character voices, and plenty of knowledge of the game but a love for doing cool stuff! What to Have Discord, headphones, and a working mic! I use Above VTT for my digital table top so the browser extension will be needed to play the game proper. Rules of the Table NO ISMS: Something I will absolutely not tolerate is isms of any kind. If there is any you will be asked to leave the game and kicked from the server. Encourage other players: It's not fun to down others as they play. Be Mindful: Just as you encourage don't be overzelous! Everyone has a comfort zone and we want to have fun not make anyone uncomfortable at the table. Have fun: Above all else this is a game to enjoy. While I do hope to make it a fun ride I want it to be a collective bus of fun! My DM Style I do my best to do a blend of rule of cool and sticking to the rules. I encourage roleplaying to immerse yourself and others into the story, but it is not necessary! Though I do have a couple of table rules to note: Flanking: While I do allow flanking there is a slight adjustment. Rather than advantage I give a numerical buff to the roll. 2 people flanking is a +2 to the roll and 3 or more is a +5 to the roll. AC Reseilince: AC is important which is why for this table rule if an attack lands on your AC's numerical value all damage on an attack is halved! That's all from your friendly neighborhood DM! Gameplay details

We will be doing a small debriefing/Session 0 before Session 1. X, N, and O's can be send digitally in game chat or privately to me! At a good stopping point we will take a 10-minute break.

How will character creation work

1st level character made in good ole DND Beyond! Stats can be done whichever way suits you best! Any books are welcome as long as they are available in DND Beyond. All characters are welcome to an uncommon magical item as long as it isn't a campaign specific item (unless of course it's Strixhaven in this case)!
