Fallout Adventures 2d20
Fallout: The Roleplaying Game | Campaign
About the adventure
In the nuclear-ravaged wasteland of the Commonwealth, an armed standoff outside of a ruined vault leads a group of strangers to a discovery that paints a target on their backs and could forever change the region. If they can survive, will the strangers become a beacon of hope for the future amidst the bleakness of post-atomic America? Or will they take the spoils all for themselves? Welcome to the world of Fallout, the year is 2290 and the world as we know it has been wiped out by nuclear bombs. People have emerged once more onto the surface from their vaults or other hiding places and a network of ramshackle communities and settlements have sprung up around the Commonwealth. The area used will be the same as Fallout 4 (wastelands around Boston.) I am looking for a group of 5-6 to work as a team and make it through the many dangers this module provides, or to derail it completely and become raiders or mutfruit farmers. As long as they are working together. This adventure will teach the basics of gameplay as we go and afterwards I will offer the option to continue or start a new campaign.
I have recreated the Commonwealth from Fallout 4 in Foundry VVT including fully self explorable cities with point and click movement as well as automated shops that open and close with the local time. Come and join us a a group of survivors carve out a place for themselves in this wild land. Pre-gen characters will be available. The main origins of this world are: **Vault Dweller** **Survivor** **Ghoul** **Super Mutant** **Mr. Handy** **Brotherhood of Steel initiate** **3rd Gen Synth** **Protectron** **Child of Atom** The system used is a 2d20 system so you are only using d20+d6's. We use "zones" in combat so no grid or measuring, its all quick paced and full of action. All of the other players are new to this system so don't feel worried about coming in blind I run games fulltime 5 days a week for over 5 years now on roll20 (DM'ing for over 10 years in total.) They usually run for 3 - 4hrs with a 10min break and features loads of extra content in the form of maps for every occasion, added content, characters to flesh out the story and music to suit the mood. I have played fallout 3/ new vegas & fallout 4 multiple times and feel confident in my ability to bring the wasteland to life. I will be drawing on music and scenery from the fallout series.

Proficiencies
Players say this GM is great at:
Storytelling
Creativity
Voices
I have now played a few sessions with Nathan and I must say I am very impressed with the dramatic flair his maps and visuals aids have! Combined with the great music pieces he chose, it contributed towards a very haunting experience (we were doing a gothic horror module) and great immersion overall. Combat was fun and engaging and also he gave us a puppy so what's not to like about that? DM also has quite a friendly community on Discord and it was a very safe environment overall with him checking in on us after particularly tough scenes. Would suggest to anyone who wants an entertaining, immersive game to come to every week.
I have played two games with Nathan_Dibbler: Storm Kings Thunder and Chains of Asmodeus, and I am very glad to say that I have a really good time. I was new to playing live DnD before I joined my first game with Nathan, and it was very beginner-friendly. He is also really great with the voices of NPCs and monsters and he can provide great visuals for the atmosphere. I will definitely join his games again in the future!
I've been playing Chains of Asmodeus with Nathan for a while now and it's been an absolute blast. Pros: - Warm and welcoming. - Open to homebrew content for characters. - Amazing voices (it's like playing with a voice actor as your DM.) - Gives plenty of moments to roleplay. - Super patient and friendly. Cons: - I live in Australia so I can't play more of his games. - Seriously, that's it. If you're looking for a fantastic D&D experience Nathan's got you covered, his games are one of the weeks highlights which I look forward to each time. 10/10 would play in more games if I didn't live in a scuffed timezone.

How to prepare
Everything is done on Roll20 (on Chrome preferably) and Discord, you only need a microphone and to install Discord if you want to use the client version which I would recommend.
What I provide
I will bring the story, setting and handouts with loads of extra content and fleshed out characters. Music that suits the game (I am a big fan of the Fallout games) and lots more. About my DM style: My end goal is to facilitate an interesting and fulfilling adventure for the players in my game. I am always happy to change things up if the players are not enjoying certain aspects of the game or would like mechanics added. Typically I am pretty laid back, happy to accommodate changes and interesting RP as long as no one is left out. I like to have a healthy mix of all the gameplay aspects (RP/exploration/combat) but I am happy to cater for the party as needed. I tend towards more lighthearted comedy but have no problem with serious RP. My games will not feature any darker themes like torture, sexual assault etc... Certain things will be allowed "off screen".
Gameplay details
We will have a comprehensive session 0 where we will discuss all issues that players may have. That being said be aware that the setting is a violent one as people fight to survive. I will have links to all the core rulebook handouts so you can refer to any of the rules of the fly.
