About the adventure
A gritty, medieval, yet magically charged campaign that explores the world of Katarran in its fullest, written by myself. As it observes characters go from level 2 (or 3, depending on preference) to 16. -Explore the forgotten and censored history of a world rules by ignorance -Claim powerful, but perhaps corrupting relics of those that came before you -Be visited by otherworldly things, who will take or give based on your answers -Many new character options and support! Bringing forth the struggles of those who live within it, and those who live without it, a tale that the players will dictate within their entirely, but one about choices, to shape the world in your own image. Follow the Paths, scions of the Apparition, we stand united... yet separate. °Everything is darkest, before the dawn.° An old saying within the nation of Falterra, and so it appears, as we live in the darkest age man has ever known. Old times have come to pass, there are tales of times far prettier, with men being able to change the very structure of the universe with concrete words and actions, a distant cry for the unwashed masses to cling on to have at least a little hope left in a world that wants to crush them, besieged by constant war and famine. And so you all sit around, waiting for your untimely ends, hoping for it not to be cruel or violent, but for it to be swift and painless, as you tend to those you love to keep yourself sane. One day, however, you find yourself in a most intriguing predicament. You feel this is the start of something big. How to prepare
A good quality headset is required to play, to prevent audio disturbance and feedback. Players are expected to be familiar with the rules that apply to their own characters - if you have any doubts feel free to check in at any time over Discord. Characters should be created before the first game, in consultation with the GM and after reading the basic rules. Any questions are always open to be discussed, even for the newest of players. We will discuss party alignment and goals as a way for cohesion during session 0!

How will character creation work
Play will begin at either level 2 or free depending on character preference. During session 0, we will be discussing additional rules or options for players, which will then be expanded upon when we properly make characters. Ill be taking the concepts that the players give, and expand them within my world, or the players are free to read the lore and make something for themselves!
