How to prepare

Players are encouraged to read through the character creation guide in the Player's Handbook. As well players will need to bring their own dice or use a virtual dice roller as well as a microphone. While optional players are encouraged to use a webcam.

What I provide

As the Master of Ceremonies for this particular One-Shot I will be bringing Books: BOOKS!! I have all the books for this particular TTRPG! They will be added to the Role Game for this particular campaign! Players are encouraged to read through the material as well as ask any questions to me the MC about the game and this particular campaign Stream: Yes I know this sounds like me plugging for my actual play of city of mist but I find that I learn these games best by watching other people play them. So I do have a game that I play with friends in which all of us are learning the game. So if you find this helpful feel free to watch! Music: I will be curating a playlist for this campaign that will be setting the mood for the campaign! I will also take any reccomendations for music as well so everyone has fun during this game! Gameplay details

City of Mist is a mostly roleplaying game, while there will be combat most mysteries will be dealt with a non combat solution. The story will deal with a wide range of dark topics. Players are encouraged to take breaks during the session and let me know of any trigger warnings/content warnings that are needed. There will be a debreif after the session and players are encouraged to post in the stars and wishes chat for future sessions. Players are encouraged to read the players handbook before the session!

How will character creation work

Character creation will be dealt with before the game is held in one of three ways. 1. A player can contact me on here or on discord to set up a one on one call to help create their character. the character creation can be a little intense at first so the one on one session is highly recommended to first time and new players. 2. A Player can create their character on their own, all they would have to do is send me the character sheet through discord and let me look it over. All characters will be accepted I would like to see what I am working with. 3. A Player can choose a Pre-Gen Character if they do not feel comfortable creating their first character in a One-Shot. These Pre Gen Characters are available in all books that you will have access to as well as in the materials that will be sent to you in the prep materials. All materials will be sent in a google drive file that will be shared through a link. Please feel free to DM me with any questions that you have regarding character creation and I will be sure to get back to you in a timely manner.
