About the adventure

Durdona is a city of opportunity, magic, and danger. It is a rapidly growing city built upon the powerful and recently discovered crystal resource known as Malica. For adventurers, Durdona offers endless paths to power, glory, and intrigue, with factions from across the world and beyond vying for control of this vibrant city and its most valuable asset. The main focus of the campaign will be on doing perilous dives into the Outer Mines. These locations are spread throughout the region with rare and exciting opportunities for adventurers to discover. unique challenges to overcome. This will give the campaign a strong dungeon crawl focus, but with options to do side quests and other adventures around Durdona as well. This campaign is set in a living, breathing world that evolves based on the choices of its players. The city of Durdona is divided into distinct districts, each with its feel, theme, and challenges. From the elite halls of the Crystal Heights to the shadowy depths of the Undermarket, and the magical mysteries of the Arcane Ward, Durdona’s streets are filled with colorful characters, hidden dangers, and opportunity for the savvy and foolhardy alike. Tailored for players who love in-depth roleplay, exploration, and creative problem-solving, this campaign will immerse you in a world where your actions have real consequences, and every decision can shift the balance of power. What I provide

-Fantasy Grounds Unity Ultimate -Music Bot -Unique Maps and Pre-generated maps -Unique Music -Lots of Rules Assistance through Fantasy Grounds Unity -Custom items guaranteed (homebrew classes, feats, etc.) -Scabard (World Anvil-like website for organizing information) -Rule of Cool always rules. -Extras (See below) Some content can be done solo via text posts, and some content can be done off-session if needed, we can schedule it as needed. I also offer two extra rewards to my players (each for $10 per session for the number of sessions listed, or for a one-time amount equal to that): I will make a unique song every 4 sessions that represents a character or team moment that you the player want to highlight, or if you want a more general theme or song made for your character/party I can do that too. (40 Dollars OTP or 10/Week) I also want to create unique gifts for the players to celebrate every six months (24 sessions) of content, these can include engraved coasters, tumblers, or even unique minis. (Typically sent out every half year. Usually a small package of a couple of items. 240 Dollars OTP or 10/Week for 24 Sessions.)

Gameplay details

I will have a Lines and Veils Document pinned in our discord for the party to use and update, it is a google docs sheet for quick access. Session 0 will cover character creation, unique rules, access to the discord server, and the FGU server, as well as making sure we are all on board with whatever content we will be having in the campaign. Almost every race has variant from this world, and is the primary version of that race, so it is important to ask about races not in the Players Handbook, for their variant.

How will character creation work

Character Creation on Fantasy Grounds Unity -Level 1 -Point Buy (Standard 27 Points) -Unique Sub-Races Available (Subraces will be on Discord) -Variant Human not allowed, everyone starts with a Feat at level 1. -Start with 1 uncommon magic item or two common magic items. There will be an option to choose from six pre-generated characters. We will be using Legacy aka 2014 5e. We may switch once the core rules are fully released in 2025. All First-party books and materials are allowed (if I don't own the book on FGU I can code it in.) and I allow some third party, specifically Spire of Secrets, and other materials from Mage Hand Press, and am open to other third party books, pending approval. The world, Din, has unique sub-races that are the most prominent versions of each race in the world. These will be on the discord but aren't required to be used, they will explain a bit about the general feel of the races in this world, however, to give you some more flavor. I have two original mechanics one is optional and one isn't. The optional mechanic is a prestige slot system, creating a system that rewards actions taken in the game. The non-optional one is an entirely new magical material called Malica.
