Drift Crisis | Playtest Conversion | Beginner Friendly

Starfinder, Pathfinder 2e | Campaign

About the adventure

Welcome to the Marata, your new home away from home—and your only one for a while. You never set out to be adventurers; you’re just a group of people on a job, on a journey, or doing some other mundane task. When you get thrown across the cosmos without warning, all that is shattered. You have little to no hope of an easy way out. All that drives you and your companions now is finding a way home to the Pact Worlds, even if that takes you to Hell and back. It’d be best if you didn’t have to go there, though. This campaign will be a playthrough of the Drift Crashers Adventure Path from Starfinder 1e, fully converted to operate within the scope of the Second Edition Playtest. This does include adjusted ruled for starship combat as well, so we can take a bit of a preview of what it might look like with the full release of 2e! This campaign will take place from levels 1 - 7, but we can absolutely continue the story into the Drift Hackers AP afterwards, which will bring the party up to level 15. The following variant rules will be in play: - Free Archetype (see below) - Ancestry Paragon

We've been playing Pathfinder Season of Ghosts for three months, and the vibes have been immaculate! The sessions all run very smoothly, from roleplay to combat, and his characters are always fun to interact with. He takes pride in being a tough dungeon master, but at the same time is empathetic & hopes for his players success! All in all, he creates a great environment to step into another world and temporarily forget that you have to pay ridiculous rent.

Jeriko is a fantastic GM! I've enjoyed every moment spent at his table (and there have been some moments, let me tell you). His engaging storytelling style and fun, memorable voices always keep things interesting. He doesn't pull any punches, however; fights can be tough—but it just makes them that much more rewarding. I've really admired the way he leans into our characters and gives them time to shine... almost as if he loves them as much as we do. Probably my favorite thing about him. Do yourself a favor and sign up for one of Jeriko's games. You will not regret it!

Jeriko is easily one of the best DMs I've ever played with. Extremely prepared, patient, funny and a great teacher. I would highly recommend his games to anyone and I plan on playing in more in the future.

Additional details

How to prepare

Players will need access to Discord, internet, and a functioning microphone. Sessions will take place in a discord voice call, and will also utilize the in-server chatbox in Foundry to communicate. Cameras are entirely optional.

What I provide

I will provide a full discord server for the campaign, as well as a fleshed out gaming experience using the wealth of tools provided by Foundry VTT. A number of additional modules will be used to enhance player experience. Additionally, I can provide AI generated character artwork for players who do not have an image they are happy with for their character to use. I will also be recording sessions for uploading to youtube over the course of the campaign.

Gameplay details

My tables are open to all, and tend to focus on the roleplay elements of the story, bringing the locations and characters to life in a fitting manner. My table encourages creative solutions and non-traditional use of feats and spells to achieve results.

How will character creation work

Character creation will occur during Session 0. Characters will be built at level 1, and practically all ancestries, backgrounds and classes from both Pathfinder Second Edition and the Starfinder Playtest are allowed. I do however strongly encourage that players make use of the options for ancestry, background, and class from the Starfinder Playtest. The player's guide, linked below, has useful information for lore-related purposes, but the mechanical beneefits have been updated to 2e (these will be available in the Discord server). For any uncommon or rare character choices, I ask that they be run by me first, but most of the time they will be accepted! This adventure path will follow around a group of adventurers being whisked around the galaxy when drift travel is currently inoperable. It is asked that players build characters who have an inherent desire to help others (without necessarily expectation of a reward), as that will be a major facet of this story. Additionally, self sufficiency will be of great importance, so a diverse party capable of taking care of themselves and each other will be a great fit. The following variant rules will also be in play, with a small caveat: Free Archetype; Ancestry Paragon. I ask that players do not take multiclass dedications, and instead look for another archetype that can fit the theme and build of your character! I would prefer that reasons be related to the story of your character, as opposed to taking specific abilities solely to make your character more powerful. https://downloads.paizo.com/DriftCrashers_PlayersGuide.pdf
