About the adventure

Players can expect a little mystery, a little combat, and a WHOLE lot of spookiness. This is a Call of Cthulhu horror one-shot (3-5 sessions) set in the modern day, and made for folks who want to be genuinely frightened by the game. Characters will be in CONSTANT danger. This is designed to be a brutal and harrowing experience, with the brazen purpose of testing the nerves. That said, this module is not pornographic or overly graphic in any particular way. Black magic, gory violence, insanity, and death are core to the experience, however, so if you're triggered by any of that, prepare yourself! Life or death is based on your decisions, and the whims of the dice. •A note on play style: I like to voice NPCs and roleplay to the fullest and am grateful when players feel comfortable going all the way, but there's NOTHING WRONG with not doing that. I only have three expectations: 1) treat everyone (including myself) with the same respect that you expect. 2) follow StartPlaying behavior policy. 3) uphold a general façade of immersion at the "table".
