The World of Norae - Shadow of the Dead Machine
Dungeons & Dragons 5e | Campaign
About the adventure
The Second Campaign in a World called Norae. (Completing the first campaign is not necessary) After the arduous journey north, you have stepped upon the hard cobble of Ismandrakken, the capital of Firdrunnr, amidst an arcane industrial revolution in the Orc and Dwarf alliance's heart city. Your reasons are your own but you and your party have found themselves in the employ of an up-and-coming inventor - calling themselves "Pocket". The rumors have been floating across the country about Eldritch monsters and shadow creatures in the smoggy alleys of the copper city of Ismandrakken, and you have a bad feeling you're going to experience it first hand. The world is changing in Firdrunnr, and the very oldest and unchanging of things cling to the land like a garrote around the neck. The World of Norae's people are aware of the end of wars and the possible unrest within the mountainous islands of Firdrunnr, so any of the multitude of races can be found within the territory. Some wish to satiate curiosity, some journey for the promise of coin, but all make their way to Ismandrakken where the iron heart beats and progress calls home. This Campaign is set for any race, any class, and any background within the rules of 5e. If a custom subclass or any homebrew ideas are brought forth, all effort will be put into making it a viable option within the rules. This campaign is ideal for testing character builds but also has every intention of completing whole campaigns! We begin the game at level 3. Firdrunnr is a continent within a world called Norae, where this campaign takes place. It contains its own gods, and can easily adapt any of the pantheons within Dungeons and Dragons lore. There are a variety of settings within this fantasy realm: High Fantasy, Science Fantasy, Exploration and Discovery, Airship Combat, etc. This world and story is home-made and time tested, and I hope to see you all answer your summons and begin this new adventure! This game is run on Discord and with Foundry VTT. D&D Beyond sheets can be imported.
